  1. Saw Amazon had a decent price on the new Ironclaw RGB Wireless ($59.99), and I decided to get one for fun. I am quite glad that I did, as they fixed a bunch of niggles I had with the Dark Core, especially involving Bluetooth. The shape of the unit reminds me of the contoured mice from Logitech, like the G700, but without so much slant to the right. The rubberized texture areas are more grippy, with improved positive feel, than the Dark Core, and I also like the satin finish on the plastic areas of the buttons and palm rest. The wheel is also thicker, and the RGB lighting comes from the center of the wheel. There is also no fixed Sniper button. If you want a sniper button, you will need to use iCUE to assign that feature to whichever button you prefer. They fixed an issue regarding using the mouse and K63 WIreless on Bluetooth. If I turned on the mouse first to connect, then when the keyboard connected, the mouse would lag. Workaround was to turn them both off, and connect with keyboard first. The Ironclaw has no issue. (And I restested, and my Dark Core still has this issue with current updates.) The Profile buttons aren't reprogrammable in iCUE. Why? I don't change profiles, and would like to use those buttons for other things. I enjoy using the right wing of the Dark Core, but the Ironclaw is very comfortable in my hand, and my fingers rest on the rubber area easily. Overall, comfort is higher with the Ironclaw. I also like the fact that battery life doubles when using Bluetooth. This wasn't the case with the Dark Core, which needed recharging overnight daily. I prefer the new side button layout. Got to get used to using the Option button with my Index finger. A flat button where the thumb rests would have made an ideal 4th button, like the Sniper Button on the Dark Core. In regards to the 3 side buttons and DPI buttons, I would have liked to see iCUE be able to assign them to be generic mouse buttons. M4-M8 (M1-3 are left, right, and wheel click) This would allow me to use the game in question to assign mapping, instead of through iCUE profiles, as I like to use the mouse and keyboard through Bluetooth. (I could then save this mapping to the hardware profile) I like the weight of the mouse, as I despise mice that are too light. I also lik ethe fact that the USB port was raised up off the surface compared to the Dark Core, eliminating potential drag from the cable's shroud.
  2. Check if Fast Boot is enabled. If so, disable. Windows is not initializing the Corsair service before login, or a driver isn't running yet.
  3. Easy, the mouse is wired in that snapshot, and thus dongle is not being used.
  4. I think he's venting over the fact that Corsair won't give him pre-paid shipping for his cross-country RMA.
  5. I understand your choice. So far my K63 Wireless and Dark Core are doing well and behaving, after I've beaten iCUE into submission and learned it's ways and pitfalls. :) Awaiting arrival of an Ironclaw Wireless. (I like the button layout) USPS is being butt slow today.
  6. I'm not sure what is going on behind the scenes. They're usually quite responsive, but they did some system update, and poof!
  7. How many HW profiles does the Scimitar have?
  8. If you create a new profile, it's a software one. You can edit and save an existing HW profile.
  9. Did you save the remap to a hardware profile instead of the "Default" software one?
  10. If you are unwilling to mail it back for RMA service, what is the point of continuing the discussion? If you can't, sell it off and buy another brand and leave in peace.
  11. You send them the old one, they return a new one.
  12. Go to the Support pages and open a ticket. Copy what you typed here. They'll instruct you how to RMA the unit.
  13. I'm looking at my Win Lock key on my K63 Wireless as I type. Are you SURE you don't have a Win Lock key? Post a pic.
  14. Open a ticket and Support will email you the file. They don't have them for public consumption.
  15. I use just hardware profiles, and I got it fixed here. Make sure the HW profile you use is the first one in the iCUE listing. Of course, don't forget to save the hardware profile after changing the timer setting to the mouse.
  16. wow that's ghey. I suggest calling Customer Support, and give them your existing ticket number, this way you'll get the file today.
  17. Sometimes after doing a firmware update the profiles in iCUE can cause issues. Delete you existing profiles and recreate them.
  18. RMA the keyboard, sounds like the controller for the unit is shot. If you can return it to seller for a new one, do so.
  19. Yes, while the mouse is connected to power, it always shows "Charging". It's an iCUE limitation. Also, once fully charged, it reports 75%. Another iCUE issue.
  20. Firmware files are only available via ticket requests. Just be patient. You can PM a rep here with your ticket number, or call in.
  21. Turn off USB Power Saving in Advanced settings for your Power Plan. If using a Windows Default one,. you'll need to make a copy of the plan first, as the original ones are write protected.
  22. Try disabling USB Power Savings in Power Plan Advanced options
