  1. I have to agree that not having the pinhole option is a bad oversight on Corsair's part, and that they should insure the option exists going forward.
  2. 1) Warranty periods start upon original purchase, because warranty service costs are part of the selling price of the device. When you got a replacement, you did not pay for it, and thus no warranty extension. All companies work this way, and understandably so. 2) Warranty claims are dated by the time you report the issue. If you waited 3 months to report, then the onus is on you. However, if you report an issue before warranty expires, and the condition exists after it expires, the company is still obligated to service it because you first reported the issue before expiration. 3) If you got 2 lemons, time to move on to another model.
  3. I looked on my Ironclaw, and did not find a pinhole either. If there is one, it would have to be under a slider pad.
  4. FW is available from Support. Open a ticket and request.
  5. 1) Make sure the K70 is not plugged into any hubs; only use a direct USB port for updating 2) Try using a USB 2.0 port. When I first got my Dark Core, it wouldn't update on USB3. After the initial fw update, it then worked over USB3.
  6. Have you tried using an external USB power source, not the PC?
  7. Did you disable it in the profile?
  8. It's hardwired. You'd have to splice in a replacement, or do some soldering.
  9. AFAIK, Corsair only uses 2 types of dongles, the regular 2.4GHz one, and the newer Slipstream. It should work, assuming you can flash it to the K83 firmware.
  10. Keep returning it until you get one that doesn't whine.
  11. If you can't figure it out, have someone look at it, or return/RMA.
  12. Download the current installer, and run it again. You will see a Repair Install option.
  13. Good job! Go celebrate by fragging someone online. :)
  14. Have you tried a soft reset first?
  15. Take the spacebar off and check that nothing is cracked, or if the 2 side stabilizers are ok.
  16. Testing with my Ironclaw, mouse wheel scrolls faster with a medium speed vs faster speed.
  17. Your mouse was made after that version of iCUE was made, so it doesn't recognize the Hardware ID. Update iCUE by however you can.
  18. Dark Core USB Cable and Dongle Replacements $12.99 US Google is your friend. :)
  19. https://smile.amazon.com/Corsair-Gaming-Double-Shot-Keycaps-105-Keyset/dp/B075QMJGYC/ The problem with most replacement sets is that Corsair uses a custom size on the bottom row. So unless the set specifically says it's for Corsair, then assume the bottom row will not fit properly. The set I linked is from Corsair.
  20. https://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=165637 It's a sticky on this forum :)
  21. Considering I have the same kb, and my LEDs turn completely off using the Lighting button. What firmware are you on? If it is a firmware issue, you can probably reset the light mapping with either a soft reset or hard reset.
  22. You and the rest of known civilization would love to be able to hit a button and see battery status, or toggle dpi/battery status. (HINT TO CORSAIR DEVS) BTW The Battery Status for Bluetooth always shows 100%.
  23. Seems the iCUE device setup is a little wonky on your system. I suggest doing a repair install. If this doesn't fix it, then uninstall, and then manually remove leftover directories. (I don't have them off hand) Then install iCUE with the Slipstream dongle already installed.
