I use Link and my HX1000i works with it fine Look for the i series which support monitoring. AXi, HXi and RMi -
I have been lucky as the 2x12 cable is rock solid on my Corsair modular power supplies. If you can scrape it up the HXi series are very good

type 4 are not needed so stick to type 3 as for braided cables, i have not seen them for peripherals, only flat cables eps12v and pci express are available braided

My fans are very big and I tried toggling it on and off in the BIOS and I an hear it with the dust filter off Fans when they startup using PWM can use a bit more power to start and when rotation starts. The click can come from the bearings.

looks like you may need to move to the 1000W range to have enough current to cope hot power supplies do not last long -
low cost front panel boxes for any occasion are very low cost on ebay my box has a type c on it and 3 type along with a card reader above the usb ports as type c expands i can always get a new or secondary from panel box

buzzing more evident in areas with 240V one way to improve on the problem is with a higher quality power bar with filters etc

could be the fan cutting in and out if your box its close to the thermal threshold

I noticed Corsair is now more focused with the i class power supplies with the AXi, TXi and RMi making up the lineup for enthusiast power supplies. Managed power supplies allow more customizations generally with some of the vanity items available. Managed water coolers work the same, they can be monitored

A few games seem to need faster hardware than most consumers are used to presenting I found a SSD was the best bang for the buck for gaming generally

older fan controllers are not as quiet as more recent designs i on the other hand force my psu fan to run all the time so that it remains cooler i stuff my rigs with lots of fans to remove heat from front intake fans to rear/top exhaust

I noticed on NewEgg in Canada they are gouging on the price for a 750D chassis while the H115i seems to be proper if the case is EOL any alternatives for a big box for lots hard disks and one optical drive and one USB/card reader front box

whine can be due to problems with an old power bar as well as with noise filters

maybe 50 years ago caps leaked but modern ones are pretty stable lot of learning into hardware of the last 50 years
