BossmanBossman
Hello, I am new to the AIO scene and I wanted to know if my watercoolor will auto adjust rpm to cpu temp.:D:
LeDoyen
it can but it's better not ^^ it makes no sense for a watercooler to do so since the water soaks bursts of power from the CPU. accelerating the fans each time there's a usage spike has no benefits in term of cooling and only creates... auditory nuisance.. By default the AIO fans respond to coolant temperature, just like most custom loops are set by the way. As long as the water transfers heat without heating too much, there's no need to ramp up fan speed, so you can enjoy the silence during light usage. If you start gaming, or doing any other intensive task, you'll hear the fans gradually accelerate as water warms up. But it will take a while contrary to aircoolers, still because water takes a while to warm up. Air coolers may reach steady state in 5 minutes or less, an AIO may do so in 20 - 30 minutes.
