  1. Sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere and I just missed it. I just didn't see my exact issue. One of my RAM sticks doesn't match the other. Not just a different shade of blue like some of the others, but a random color. Right now I'm running the Corsair blue scheme through iCue and the right stick is yellow instead of light blue. Sometimes it's not the whole stick, but just a portion of it will be a different color (i.e. the top 1/3 of the stick will be red or orange or something). It's not always the same stick and it's pretty random. It should all be synched, except for the mobo. Everything is controlled through iCue (H150i Elite Capellix, Commander Core, Lightning Node Pro, and LL120 fans). I honestly think the problem is with my Mobo. I have a Gigabyte Aorus Pro AC B500, and it has been finnicky from time to time with my RAM. Sometimes it doesn't register both sticks in Bios, but they are both running according to Task Manager and other benchmark tests. And the XMP profile never says that they are running over 2133 (they are 3600). To be clear, the performance of the RAM has been where it should be, it's just the mobo doesn't reflect that in its stats. I just don't want to ignore the issue (it's just a color mismatch when its static) and it turn out to be something bigger that I should've fixed earlier.
  2. Hopefully, somebody can help me. I do have an Asus Prime Z 490-A motherboard with a 10700KF and two CMK32GX4M2D3600C18 and latest bios 2201. I can't get the speed higher than 3000 while it's 3600 memory. settings 18-22-22-42 1.35V I have to set manually speed to 3000, if on automatic or if I put it myself higher than 3000, system won't boot or error on bootscreen. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance, Caesar
  3. Hi Everyone. My pc specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5600X Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro AC with latest bios update (F13J - 23 April 2021). Ram kit1: Corsair Vengence RGB Pro (CMW16GX4M2Z3600C18) 16gb 2x8GB Ram kit2: Corsair Vengence RGB Pro (CMW16GX4M2Z3600C18) 16gb 2x8GB The issue: I have x2 dual kits installed in all 4 slots. Currently the RAM is running at 2666Mhz and stable. When I enable XMP to boost to 3600Mhz the system is unstable (cannot even log into windows). How I have tested: Method 1: Used each ram kit separately (2x8gb) in slots DDR4_A2 & DDR4_B2 with XMP enabled and system boots fine with no issues. But using both kits at the same time system only runs with XMP disabled. Method 2: Used the same scenario as above in my friends Asus ROG X570 Dark Hero motherboard and AMD Ryzen 5900X CPU. Using both ram kits (4x 8GB) with XMP enabled causes instability. Both kits running (2x8Gb) with XMP enabled works fine. The kit (CMW16GX4M2Z3600C18) was listed on Gigabyte QVL as supported memory socket 2, but not 4. So could this be that because its two dual kits that it cannot be used in all 4 sockets together? All settings in Bios is running on AUTO. Enabling XMP causes the instability when using all 4 ram sockets. Thanks for the read. Regards OsMoFF
  4. Really struggle to get my RAM pass 3200 Mhz speed... Please educated me what to do to get to rated speed. Spec: AMD Ryzen 9 5950x MSI X570 Prestige Creation Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 64GB (2x32GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) C18 MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Ventus 3X 24G OC WD_BLACK SN850 2TB (BOOT) Crucial P2 2TBX2 (Storage) Corsair Hydro X Series Custom Loop (2x280 mm radiator, soft tubing, CPU/GPU water block with 4 140 fans, leak test done)
  5. Hi, I just purchased DOMINATOR PLATINUM RGB 16GB (2X8GB) 3600 MHZ DDR4 DUAL CHANNEL MEMORY KIT RYZEN as I was upgrading my PC along with a Ryzen 7 3700x and an Asus Rog Strix F-Gaming x570 Motherboard. The system is perfectly stable provided I keep RAM running at the auto 2133MHz frequency, the moment I try 3600MHz or even 3200MHz my system starts to randomly restart. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
