  1. Ive been putting together my own PC for the last few weeks. I want to get my Case today and am wondering. I have the Corsair H115i RGB Platinum cooler and i wanna mount it on the top. My Ram sticks are Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro and a Asus Rog Strix Z390-E Gaming mobo. Ive heard this combo works and doesnt work from different people. The Vengeance Ram sticks are 51mm. The Airflow 4000D case has great reviews and is relatively cheap but i wanna avoid mounting my cpu cooler on the front. Is this combo now possible or not? Again, Corsair H115i RGB Platinum top mount, Corsair 4000D Airflow, Asus Rog strix Z390-E Gaming + 51mm Vengeance RAM Sticks. Cheers
  2. I just placed an order for the i7200 with the 3070 & i7 11700 and 16GB of RAM. When I go to Corsairs site to look at the VENGEANCE® RGB PRO 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz Memory Kit — Black it has two available choices CL16 & CL14. I was going to order the RAM so it would be here to install when my computer arrives. Does anyone know which (CL-16 or CL-14) the pre-built CORSAIR VENGEANCE i7200 Series Gaming PC CS-9050013-NA? Thanks in advance!
  3. Hi all, I am currently researching parts for my new pc that I plan to build in a couple of weeks. I have made a parts list but ran into a problem; the case and AIO combination don'support all RAM modules due to clearance issues. The relevant parts of my list: - CPU: Intel i7-10700k - Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming - CPU cooler: Corsair Corsair iCUE H115i Elite Capellix Liquid CPU Cooler, 280 mm - Case: Corsair iCue 4000X Tempered Glass Black Originally I wanted to buy some Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM, but quickly found out that this particular RAM kit will interfere with my AIO cooler. My question is: are there any RGB RAM kits that will fit my case/AIO cooler/motherboard combination? I am looking for 32GB (2X 16) 3600Mhz kit. Help will be very much appreciated!
  4. Hi, I've been struggling for a while now with ICUE not detecting my ram properly. Sometimes it works and sometimes it freezes, resulting in the red triangle appearing and all lightning effects stopping. I now have a consistent way of reproducing this issue, which might mean this bug can be fixed in an update. Every time I open Ryzen Master, the AMD tool to tweak CPU speeds etc., the lights on my ram modules freeze. This problem cannot be fixed by "restarting ICUE services", which is an option within ICUE. But it is fixed by stopping the "Corsair.Service.CpuIdRemote" service in task manager and then restarting ICUE. I think it is interference with ICUE and Ryzen Master trying to identify the ram. I also have some more problems with my ram identification, as Speccy does not recognize it. I used to work around this problem by setting my ram to "hardware only", but this option has been removed in the newest ICUE versions.
  5. Hi I recently took apart my vengeance pro modules and there were three different types of things inside firstly there was some thicker sticky pads which I'm assuming is just thermal pads or thermal adhesive however there was then some thin tape as well as like a foam pad, I'm just wondering what are these things and where can I replace them them
  8. I bought 2 2x8gb kits from Newegg (CMW16BX4M2D3000C16) They look beautiful. However, "dim 1" which is in slot 3 from the CPU socket seems to have a dead LED in at the very "bottom" of the stick. Ill attach a photo. Is ive tried to reseat the ram and it's seated all the way in. Is it even worth trying to replace the stick as Ill most likely have to replace both sticks from the kit? The issue isn't all that obvious on some lighting options. Thanks in advance
LG
  11. Around a month ago I started an RMA procces with Corsair to replace a deffective RAM module that i've got in a package of 2 modules, long story short i was required to send both modules 1 good 1 bad to Corsair here on my country wich rounded as 17.63dlls on shipping fees. Yesterday i've received a package of 2 RAM modules from RMA Corsair which one of them turned out to be bad. Now I have to start a new ticket then send my RAM modules in as another 17.63dlls to get PROBABLY one good and one bad again. Is it normal that i have to pay almost a brand new module on shipping fees to receive them deffective from RMA Corsair? Is there any way for me to keep the good module so when they sent me another package with 2 modules and one comes deffective at least get to have 2 good ones? Right now it's been 100% probably that one module of a package of 2 will come bad. Sorry if I sounded angry, I just cant believe that after asking for a replacement for a deffective module i get another deffective module as replacement.

  13. Hello, I recently purchased a new PC with Corsair RGB RAM, light strips, and LL120 Fans. I've been having an issue with Corsair LINK that whenever I shut down my PC and restart it the software can't control anything (Even though it sees them). I decided to switch over to iCUE to see if it would fix the problems. Now in the dashboard I can see my Vengeance RAM, but nothing else. When I goto add a new item (Through the '+' beside dashboard) I see everything except the fans and strips. Something weird I noticed though is the Motherboard has 4 fans listed, (I have a total of 4) 3 are the LL's and 1 is a generic case fan. Thanks for your time!
RAM : Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200 MHz Liebe Grüße
  16. So I ordered some new ram sticks, cmt32gx4m2c3600c18, went to overclock using the DRAM calculator and Thiaphoon however while using Thiaphoon I discovered I have a Nanya Die, I have never heard of this brand and it's not even listed in the DRAM calculator, looked up online, most places say it's rubbish, went to look on how I can get a different die, discovered that the version number says what die it is pretty much, however my version number is 4.31 which from what I read should be a Samsung die so now I'm even more confused so any help on what this Nanya die really is, how good it is etc would be lovely, and if I should return it and try and get a better die
  17. Hello, I have an almost 4-year-old Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR 4 32G (2x16) 3200. Till recently I saw my computer is using the whole 32GB, however, I noticed that now I only see 16GB of RAM. (15.9GB to be exect) In the BIOS I see only 16384mb. In Task Manager I see in the top 32GB, but only 16GB in use. Both 2 slots are in use. In device specifications/ I see 32GB installed but only 15.9GB in use. I tried reseating and changing slots but it didn't help. Strange thing is that when I try to boot with only one stick instead 2 things happen: 1st stick - the computer goes into power-saving mode and shuts down. 2nd stick - nothing boots, just all the fans speed up and get very loud, but that's it. I have AMD Ryzen 7 1700x and Asus Prime x370-pro. Thank you.
  18. Hi there! Just a quick feature request here: It would be great, if you added a RAM usage widget. I don't know, if this software is written in C++ or anything else, but you could use this to get the values and create a widget just like the cpu percentage widget. It might even help you in the quest of the search for the cpu usage problems in the icue software. Just create an instance of the object below and call the needed functions as few times as possible to save clock cycles. // system_stats.h #pragma once #include "TCHAR.h" #include "pdh.h" #include "windows.h" class SystemStats { public: SystemStats(); int currentCpuUsage(); int currentRamUsageInPercent(); int freeMemoryInPercent(); private: PDH_HQUERY cpuQuery; PDH_HCOUNTER cpuTotal; }; // system_stats.cpp #include "system_stats.h" SystemStats::SystemStats() { PdhOpenQuery(NULL, NULL, &cpuQuery); PdhAddEnglishCounter(cpuQuery, L"\\Processor(_Total)\\% Processor Time", NULL, &cpuTotal); PdhCollectQueryData(cpuQuery); } int SystemStats::currentCpuUsage() { PDH_FMT_COUNTERVALUE counterVal; PdhCollectQueryData(cpuQuery); PdhGetFormattedCounterValue(cpuTotal, PDH_FMT_DOUBLE, NULL, &counterVal); return (int)counterVal.doubleValue; } int SystemStats::currentRamUsageInPercent() { MEMORYSTATUSEX memInfo; memInfo.dwLength = sizeof(MEMORYSTATUSEX); GlobalMemoryStatusEx(&memInfo); return memInfo.dwMemoryLoad; } int SystemStats::freeMemoryInPercent() { return 100 - currentRamUsageInPercent(); }
  19. [ame= ] [/ame] I have Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz I'm looking for Cylon or Knight Rider effect for this Ram anyone have one ? How would I install it
  20. Hello ! First timer here :D So my issue is that I swapped my Noctua air cooler for a Corsair Hydro Series - H100x (240mm) and according to specs with my case it says 240 rad can be mounted on top: https://www.corsair.com/corsairmedia/sys_master/productcontent/CARBIDE_SERIES_275R_QSG.pdf Even the site show the rad top position as available: https://cwsmgmt.corsair.com/responsive/img/275r/stand_alone_radiators-1.jpg Now when I tried to place the Rad/Double Fan combo on top, my 2 RAM sticks are in the way; and by a good margin, it's not like 3-4mm away, I cannot see the screw holes at all... My RAM : Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4 2 x 8 Go 3333 MHz CAS 16 So my question is, am I ****ed for a top mount even though the case manual says it should go in, or I could try mounting it in front tube down even though my big *** 3090 will be in the way of the tubing ? Or maybe it is the ram sticks ? Is there sticks that are less high ? Thanks a ton!
  21. I cannot get decent help from MSI or Corsair Support so I am turning to these forums. I recently purchased 2 packs of these vengeance rgb sticks from Best Buy. I cannot get these to the max speed of 2900MHZ no matter what I try with my MSI B460M-PRO VDH WIFI mainboard. I am on the mainboard's latest firmware as well The most speed I can get is like 1400MHZ per CPU-Z i'd love to know where in the BIOS to go to set this all up manually to at least get something approaching the 2.9GHZ CPU I have.. I've tried various Try It settings, tried XMP (it always fails overclock and I have to disable), tried various pre-programmed DRAM timings but nothing works. If I leave everything on auto, I get this speed. Any help is appreciated. I am usually able to use my Google Degree but I have failed.. Full report from CPU-Z is attached DESKTOP-V9J9PJ3.txt
  22. So i bought the vengeance rgb pro 2x16gb 3200MHz about a week ago and my system is only recognizing 16gb, (assuming just 1 of them). I'm not as tech savvy as i used to be so figured I could come here for help. Ive done a memory test online and only 1 ram stick is being detected but both are working as far as RGB goes :wtfeh: Anyways heres some system specs for anybody who can help me with this: Mobo: ASRock B450M/ac CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor GPU: Radeon RX 580 Series Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 16.0 GB Total Physical Memory 15.9 GB Available Physical Memory 10.0 GB Total Virtual Memory 30.4 GB Available Virtual Memory 19.8 GB Page File Space 14.5 GB (not too sure what these numbers mean but something doesnt look right lol) I'd much rather fix the issue than return it so any info/ advice helps, thanks ! :D::D:
  23. I've had my system for a little while now, having put it together a couple of years ago and for the most part, everything has been fine. Recently, I've dsicovered that my RAM (4 x 8gb Vengeance RGB Pro 3000Mhz) has not been running at the speed it's supposed to and has also been running quite hot, never going below 40C and going to near 70C under loads that barely bother the CPU and GPU. And finally, the colour control has been coming up with errors as well, in iCUE, it appears with a red triangle and I have to force update the firmware to temporarily fix it. I've enabled XPM and manually adjusted the frequency in the BIOS to match the RAM's advertised speed, no results, and I've sped up my fans also to provide better cooling for my pc to keep my temps under control. For the RGB control, I've turned off the SDK function in iCUE and the "Enable full software Control" but I get the same results both ways. Any advice or suggestions on this would be much appreciated, thanks! 24. Hello guys! I'm trying to get some help regarding a RAM kit I bought, and I'm hoping someone here could help me! I used to have 16GB (2x8GB) of RAM @ 2400MHz running in my PC (from some other generic brand) pretty much since I bought it, but just recently I got 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200MHz, and I was hoping to ble able to overclock it to 3200MHz so I could better use its full potential. When I go into the BIOS and try to change the XMP profile (which was currently disabled) to the dropdown item "Profile1", it apparently changes the speed to 3200MHz, however when I go Save&Exit and the computer starts to boot up again, it never does. The monitor just sits on a black screen. Sometimes it is able to show something onscreen, but then it just freezes or simply stop responding. When I hold the power button to force it shut down and change back to the older RAM, it starts working fine again, not even having to remove the CMOS battery, as I've read in other forums as being a method for trying to restore the computer back to normal. I've also read that maybe the voltage should be altered, or even that some numbers had to be typed in manually, but since this is my first time trying to overclock my computer, I'm trying to go cautioulsy so I don't end up making any serious mistake. So, any thoughts on how I could do this? I was really hoping to be able to use this RAM at 3200MHz, and with my current knowledge, I'm unable to do it alone hahahaha So if anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it! :): I'm going to list some other specs here that maybe could be useful: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700x 3.7GHz MB: Gigabyte AX370 Gaming RAM (New): 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200MHZ - CMW32GX4M2C3200C16 Power supply: EVGA Supernova NEX750B NVidia Geforce GTX 1060 6GB BIOS F23d 64bit Operating System Thanks in advance guys! :greengrin And Happy Holidays! :headbang:
  25. Hello, community. This is my very first post here, please bear with me, I just made an account in hope to get some help/answers. The PC I built crashes very frequently into BSOD with MEMORY MANAGEMENT listed as an error. What I have tried so far: • Reinstalled Windows twice with updates • Running the system with XMP profile disabled - the result is the same, the system goes into BSOD. • Running the system with XMP profile enabled - the result is the same, the system goes into BSOD. • AIDA64 test for 30min shown no errors, the system was stable, no issue, no crash. • Test 1 using MEMTEST86 and both RAM sticks installed running for 2 hours and 25minutes then cancelled shown 38 errors (see pic 1.). • Test 2 using MEMTEST86 and FIRST RAM stick installed running for 12 hours and 53 minutes shown 0 errors (see pic 2.). • Test 3 using MEMTEST86 and SECOND RAM stick installed running for 5 minutes then cancelled shown 2 errors (see pic 3.) I assume if I let this test continue using the 2nd RAM stick it would end up with those 38 or more errors. The components I purchased are: • MB - GIGABYTE B550 AORUS PRO AC • CURRENT BIOS - F11p but I experienced problems with F2 as well • CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT • COOLER - Corsair iCUE H100i PRO XT RGB • RAM - CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 64GB (2 x 32GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) C18 1.35V CMK64GX4M2D3600C18 – it is listed on QVL on the GIGABYTE website • NVME - GIGABYTE GP-AG42TB • GPU - 1070TI (until 3070 is in stock) • PSU - 850W Corsair RM Series RM850 (2020) • CASE - LANCOOL II MESH PERFORMANCE • OS - Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit Ver.1909 (OS build 18363.1256) My question & concern is – is the 2nd RAM stick corrupted? Is there anything I can do to make system stable, and get rid off Blue Screen of Death for good? I really need a stable PC. I understand there is no compatibility issue with components selected. Please help. This is the 3rd PC I have built in my lifetime and never had this kind of problem. I am a creative designer and I use intensive software packages for digital reconstruction using laser scanning and photogrammetry methods. So I wouldn’t say I am a newbie when it comes to building computers and PC in general. But right now I am very desperate and clueless. PLEASE HELP.
