  1. Hey everyone, Get ready to meet the newest member of our VENGEANCE RGB DRAM family - better than ever in DDR5! Attain top-of-the-line DDR5 performance with higher frequencies and capacities. Here are a few quick highlights: Illuminate your system with ten individually addressable, ultra-bright RGB LEDs per module, encased in a panoramic light bar for vivid RGB lighting and allowing your build to irradiate from any viewing angle. Take control with CORSAIR iCUE software and customize RGB lighting, monitor real-time frequency and onboard voltage regulation Optimized for maximum bandwidth and tight response times on the latest Intel® DDR5 motherboards Equipped with a solid aluminum heatspreader that efficiently conducts heat away from your memory, designed with refined VENGEANCE styling to compliment modern systems Click HERE for more information. We've put together a quick FAQ below: Q: What voltages will DDR5 use? A: DDR5 will have lower, more flexible power usage and will go down to just 1.1V Q: Can I combine multiple kits of CORSAIR DDR5 memory? A: You can buy multiple kits of CORSAIR DDR5 memory, but we do not recommend combining them, as our memory kits are only validated for their rated performance when using only the modules provided within that specific kit. Q: Does DDR5 have XMP or Extreme Memory Profile? A: Yes! DDR5 employs a new specification, XMP 3.0, while DDR4 remains on XMP 2.0 For more FAQs, please refer to our DDR5 Memory FAQ Thread and to our DDR5 Memory Blog. Let us know your thoughts down below!
  2. Hi all Unsure if this is an issue with the RAM or the Motherboard, but hopefully someone can help either way! Basically, 9 times out of 10 when I boot up, the RAM (Corsair Dominator Plat DDR5) isn't recognised by either iCUE or CPU-Z. It is there, and the Windows system sees I have 32gb of RAM, but iCUE can't detect it (the lighting doesn't change to what it should and in iCUE there is a little red warning triangle saying it has 'Stopped detecting data from DRAM....'. In CPU-Z the issue is with SPD I think, as loading up CPU-Z hangs at that stage and inside that tab, it shows nothing in any of the 4 RAM slots. In the Memory tab it shows I have 32gb and the speeds are correct, but the SPD tab shows nothing at all?? I'm unsure if this is actually affecting performance, or just a visual thing. I did see posts on Google saying that with ASUS boards, you can disable an SPD setting to fix the issue, but unfortunately I have an MSI board (MPG Carbon Wifi) and it doesn't have this setting. It has the latest BIOS and the RAM also does (I assume - iCUE, when it can detect the RAM, says there are no firmware updates). Rebooting the PC *SOMETIMES* fixes the issue on the first reboot, but other times it can take 2-3 reboots back to back for the RAM to be recognised. It's very frustrating. Greatly appreciate any help! ❤️(Just in case it is needed, I have Windows 11 and the PC is around 4-5 months old now).
  3. Hi everyone, I'm setting up a new system with MOBO ASUS Pro WS X299 SAGE II (https://www.asus.com/Commercial-Servers-Workstations/Pro-WS-X299-SAGE-II/) and bought the following Corsair Vengeance memory already a while ago (it was a really good special in amazon.co.uk): https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/Categories/Products/Memory/VENGEANCE-LPX/p/CMK32GX4M4K4133C19 judging by the memory base speed I'd get effectively without OC 4133Mhz read-write speeds using these modules. But since I have 8 RAM module slots available and would like to be on the 256GB side I was re-thinking which RAM I'd use. Then I went to check for the fastest / best alternative that Corsair could offer for my new system. I found in top of the list (searching by compatibility) the Dominator Platinum RGB 128GB which with two sets of 4 modules would allow me to reach my goal of 256GB RAM https://www.corsair.com/eu/en/Categories/Products/Memory/DOMINATOR-PLATINUM-RGB/p/CMT128GX4M4E3200C16 It would seem that this is the best RAM Corsair could offer for my system and as I understand Dominator is the top line from Corsair but how come it is only 3200Mhz and the Vengeance I already got is 4133Mhz. I am confused, will the Dominator version be nevertheless faster despite the lower base speeds specs of 3200Mhz??? Many TIA, Best regards, Giovanni
  4. hello, when i start up my pc , the ram start with another profile that i make , so after the ISUE app start working in the background it change to the profile that i made any feedback on this issue
  5. Having stability issues on a brand new build with CMH64GX4M4D3600C18 Vengence Pro SL ram, system runs fine on default and when I apply the XMP profile the system reboots randomly and getting multiple WHEA errors when there is a BSOD (MINI BUMP GENERATED). Running Cinebench R23 would instantly crash the system when the XMP is enabled the crashes are happening on both single core and multi core. I have since changed to default all auto system settings in bios and ran 6 hours of Prime 95 and 7 hours of Multicore R23 test all have passed. Is this ram kit not compatible with my system?. Another thing I noticed was the packaging states this RAM kit is compatible for Intel boards where as the description on amazon stated clearly that its optimized for both Intel and AMD? System Specs: Asus Dark hero, 5950x, 64gb corsair vengence pro sl, 2xnvmes 980 pro 970 evo plus. 2 x SSD 860-870, 1x HDD WD Purple. Corsair RM1000x power supply, noctua NSD-15S.
  6. RAM Rgb keeps switching to static red, what do i do?
  7. So yesterday i upgraded my motherboard from a lenovo prebuilt which had no XMP function to a Asus ROG Maximus xii extreme. This allowed me to upgrade my ram to Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro CMW32GX4M2Z3600C18 (2x16GB DDR4 @ 3600). While i do love the way they look it does bug me that there are two open slots. So here is my question: Can i use Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro CMW16GX4M2Z3600C18 (2x8GB DDR4 @ 3600) to fill in the empty slots? Or are they gonna interfere with eachother? I recently spent a lot of money on the upgrade en would prefer it if i could spend less. Thanks in advance.
  8. Let's talk about the daunting topic, overclocking 🕓 this subject is often talked about when people start building PC's. Did you decide to overclock your computer and if so, what did you find most difficult? For my seasoned overclockers, do you have any tips & tricks 🗒️ for first-timers? And for anyone that decided not to overclock their computer, what had turned you away from it 🤔?
  9. Hallo Leute, Vorweg mein System. System → Windows 10 64Bit Gehäuse → Thermaltake View 91 TG Mainboard → Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce, Intel Z390 CPU → Intel Core i9-9900K (Kein OC) CPU Kühler → Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Xtreme Waterforce Monoblock Grafikkarte → Gigabyte GeForce RTX™ 2080 Ti Aorus Xtreme 11G RAM → Corsair Vengeance RGB, DDR4-3200 Quad-Kit (OC XMP 3200 ohne OC 2133) Netzteil → be quiet! Meine einzigen Fragen.
  10. Hi, Have you encountered such an issue? This RAM is compatible (according to Corsair product page) to Intel 300,400,500 series and X299 motherboards. I have had it tested on a 300 series (H310) motherboard, and it shows as 4GB RAM module. Did anyone encounter such a thing? assuming these are not counterfeit modules (which I seriously doubt as I have the box and everything else - bought it second hand), why would it show that? Thanks. (disregard my system specs as obviously this kit does not work on it)
  11. Hello, I know that it is possible to buy the vengeance pro rgb memory with no memory inside, for rgb purpose only. I would like to know if it will be the same with the vengeance pro SL. Thanks a lot.
  12. Sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere and I just missed it. I just didn't see my exact issue. One of my RAM sticks doesn't match the other. Not just a different shade of blue like some of the others, but a random color. Right now I'm running the Corsair blue scheme through iCue and the right stick is yellow instead of light blue. Sometimes it's not the whole stick, but just a portion of it will be a different color (i.e. the top 1/3 of the stick will be red or orange or something). It's not always the same stick and it's pretty random. It should all be synched, except for the mobo. Everything is controlled through iCue (H150i Elite Capellix, Commander Core, Lightning Node Pro, and LL120 fans). I honestly think the problem is with my Mobo. I have a Gigabyte Aorus Pro AC B500, and it has been finnicky from time to time with my RAM. Sometimes it doesn't register both sticks in Bios, but they are both running according to Task Manager and other benchmark tests. And the XMP profile never says that they are running over 2133 (they are 3600). To be clear, the performance of the RAM has been where it should be, it's just the mobo doesn't reflect that in its stats. I just don't want to ignore the issue (it's just a color mismatch when its static) and it turn out to be something bigger that I should've fixed earlier.
  13. Hey everyone, i recently finished my new build and purchased RAM from Corsair "CMW32GX4MC4C3200C14". I would like to know the maximum operating temperature for such modules. My System specs are: Ryzen 9 5900x 4x8GB RAM 3200mhz C14 A picture of the build is attatched, i also attatched a screenshot from HWInfo after 20 minutes of Cinebench (Multi). I also flipped the radiator fans of my CPU Rad which is mounted on the side from exhaust to intake, this resulted in a bit higher maximum CPU temps, higher storage device temps and +4C on GPU in idle, however Motherboard temps were lower by 2C. A pretty good fan curve is also setup via Agrus Monitor and it uses both CPU and GPU sensors for regulations. What seems to be weird is that RAM temps are also highly impacted by the LEDs in IDLE usage. i switched from purple to orange and instantly dropped by 5C in less than a minute, when LEDs are off the temps decrease further. Are the sensors just bad on those RAM kits or do they really get quiet warm cause of their LEDs? Would be thankful if someone could clear this up for me, maybe someone of CORSAIR staff? Thanks in advance. Regards
  14. Hello there! Recently, after upgrading to 32GB RAM and adjusting the timings in the BIOS, I have started facing some BSODs with my PC when booting the system. I have a Ryzen 3600 with a MSI B450 Tomahawk Max (latest drivers, bios and OS updates) and I have upgraded from 2x8 RAM slots (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15) to 4x8, by buying another Crucial 2x8 kit. Since I don't mean overclocking, I have left my settings on "Auto" in the BIOS (of course I have enabled the XMP) but I have noticed that the SPD timings were definitely lower than my actual settings: CL was 16 instead of 15 and I had some higher timings around as well. I have decided to fix this by manually switching my timings to the SPD ones. 1-I disabled the Gear Down mode, as it prevented me to set some timings, like CL15. 2-I manually changed my RAM timings (I also tried the 1T Command Rate). This led to some instability, so while keeping the Gear Down Mode disabled I rolled back the other settings to "Auto". Having the Gear Down Mode disabled helped the auto settings to be closer to the SPD: right now I am facing only one big difference between the SPD tRC (52) and the actual value (70), but the other timings are ok (15-17-17-35), which would be ok to me. Nonetheless, sometimes I still face BSODs when I boot up the system and I'm not sure how to handle this. I wrote to the MSI support but they suggested to use 4x8 kits instead of two different 2x8, but I hope there is a better solution around. Right now, while I'm writing this post, I have started wondering: CPUZ says that my Crucial banks on slots #1 and #2 are manufactured by SK Hynix, while the banks on the slot #3 and #4 are manufactured by Samsung. Do you think pairing the Hynix and Samsung on #1-#3 and #2-#4 may help? Or you have more or different suggestions to fix this? Thank you very much! 😄
  16. As the title says. I was just told to update my rams firmware but what am I changing? Where are the changelogs. Come on guys it's 2021 tell us what is different and why we need it. Is that so hard? I'm running this exact ram on a i9-10900k CMT32GX4M2C3466C16
  17. Hi, i've been updated the ICUE app on my mac to version 4.18.209, so then, when i use my headset VIRTUOSO, the consume of ram memory increase continuously, an process named by "Core Audio Driver (CorsairAudio.driver)" appears and the ram memory consume increase continuously. It came use 25GB of swap memory from my mac, this is insane. It seems like de Buffer or something like doesn't being cleared. i've been attached a print from the process, in the print it is just with 1.20GB of consume, but continuously increase. Macos version: Macos Monterey v.12.1 Macbook pro chip M1 Corsair ICUE: v.4.18.209 Headset VIRTUOSO RGB WIRELESS: v0.17.149 Virtuoso Wireless receiver: v0.16.80 B.R

  19. Ive been putting together my own PC for the last few weeks. I want to get my Case today and am wondering. I have the Corsair H115i RGB Platinum cooler and i wanna mount it on the top. My Ram sticks are Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro and a Asus Rog Strix Z390-E Gaming mobo. Ive heard this combo works and doesnt work from different people. The Vengeance Ram sticks are 51mm. The Airflow 4000D case has great reviews and is relatively cheap but i wanna avoid mounting my cpu cooler on the front. Is this combo now possible or not? Again, Corsair H115i RGB Platinum top mount, Corsair 4000D Airflow, Asus Rog strix Z390-E Gaming + 51mm Vengeance RAM Sticks. Cheers
  20. I just placed an order for the i7200 with the 3070 & i7 11700 and 16GB of RAM. When I go to Corsairs site to look at the VENGEANCE® RGB PRO 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz Memory Kit — Black it has two available choices CL16 & CL14. I was going to order the RAM so it would be here to install when my computer arrives. Does anyone know which (CL-16 or CL-14) the pre-built CORSAIR VENGEANCE i7200 Series Gaming PC CS-9050013-NA? Thanks in advance!
  21. Hi all, I am currently researching parts for my new pc that I plan to build in a couple of weeks. I have made a parts list but ran into a problem; the case and AIO combination don'support all RAM modules due to clearance issues. The relevant parts of my list: - CPU: Intel i7-10700k - Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming - CPU cooler: Corsair Corsair iCUE H115i Elite Capellix Liquid CPU Cooler, 280 mm - Case: Corsair iCue 4000X Tempered Glass Black Originally I wanted to buy some Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro RAM, but quickly found out that this particular RAM kit will interfere with my AIO cooler. My question is: are there any RGB RAM kits that will fit my case/AIO cooler/motherboard combination? I am looking for 32GB (2X 16) 3600Mhz kit. Help will be very much appreciated!
  22. Hi, I've been struggling for a while now with ICUE not detecting my ram properly. Sometimes it works and sometimes it freezes, resulting in the red triangle appearing and all lightning effects stopping. I now have a consistent way of reproducing this issue, which might mean this bug can be fixed in an update. Every time I open Ryzen Master, the AMD tool to tweak CPU speeds etc., the lights on my ram modules freeze. This problem cannot be fixed by "restarting ICUE services", which is an option within ICUE. But it is fixed by stopping the "Corsair.Service.CpuIdRemote" service in task manager and then restarting ICUE. I think it is interference with ICUE and Ryzen Master trying to identify the ram. I also have some more problems with my ram identification, as Speccy does not recognize it. I used to work around this problem by setting my ram to "hardware only", but this option has been removed in the newest ICUE versions.
  23. Hi I recently took apart my vengeance pro modules and there were three different types of things inside firstly there was some thicker sticky pads which I'm assuming is just thermal pads or thermal adhesive however there was then some thin tape as well as like a foam pad, I'm just wondering what are these things and where can I replace them them
  25.
