  1. I have the H115i which has 2 fan headers for the cooler fans. My commander handles the chassis fans.
  2. I tried a 300W R9 Fury with one of the pig tail cables, works fine so they can handle 300W loads easily.
  3. It does appear that Corsair has started using factory direct shipping to get replacements out faster hopefully retail stocks can be refreshed soon
  4. update your version of crystal disk reports
  5. try clonezilla which is open source to copy your SSD
  6. The AX760 is maybe 10 years old now. While good its past its best before date. Probably time for a new PSU.
  7. Then you have the updated 2019 RM series The big improvement is with 5V standby which is now way more efficient I have a RM650 which is the basic model for one video card
  8. For PCIe and peripherals type 4 or type 4 will work fine
  9. Hopefully more wafers can be made to replenish supplies My HX1000i is still respectable but the bigger cap models take overkill to the max
  10. last i heard Corsair ran low on PSUs do to the volume of of replacements but the HX1200 is still being manufactured
  11. The RM series (2019) are a more updated PSU but there is an older RM lineup with orange trim
  12. When did the CV line surface, was not on the radar in 2010 when 196.75 was frying machines galore
  13. I see lots of this with users in the tropics where its warm enough that the fan will kick switch on and off. It seems that the controller does not have much in the way of hysteresis.
  14. I wish Corsair would increase the supply of the AX1600i for those who want it for bragging rights.
  15. longest SATA cables I have are 39 inches SATA power cables are one long chain along the front of my chassis
  16. There is a different sticker with the power ratings etc, that one has the model number etc CMPSU-1000HX is the model warranty has long ago expired new models like the RM850 (2019) are 80 plus gold and a big step up
  17. I have several 5-way SATA splitters in my rig and run them all off a pair peripheral cables. The disks are usually not spinning so the load is negligible most of the time. I use an extension to connect my Corsair Commander which handles some fans and thermal sensors.
  18. Corsair ran out of HX1200 power supplies but they should have more real soon. CWT makes them for Corsair and AFAIK they are working full speed ahead.
  19. I like that Corsair cables are clearly marked to simplify selection from a large bin of them. They have accumulated over time.
  20. Hopefully everyone with RMA is getting looked after. There seems to be a bad lot of PSUs which does happen occasionally. Corsair sells a lot of power supplies globally.
  21. Before I got my G.Skill Flare X RAM 4x8GB, I was using old DDR4-2400 RAM and I have 2x2GB and 2x4GB sticks and I was battling them to work. Between BIOS headaches and my skills I was able to set a timing that was stable. I have learned much about AMD and memory.
  22. Power supply manuals are notorious for being very terse. I have often commented about builds and components in a build. Need to make more posts on the topic when DDR5 surfaces
  23. SATA power extension cables and splitters are abundant on eBay longer SATA cables are widely available too
  24. Even exchange server can make do with 4GB of memory
