  1. check for a BIOS update as many times it clears up compatibility problems check all PCIe cables to be sure they are all attached carefully and are snug etc
  2. I used to use an AX860i but it stopped working so now I use an HX1000i which is slightly more recent Try Icue version 4 and see if that works any better
  3. Make sure the pair of connectors to the PSU are snug as well as the connector on the RTX 3090. I use a Corsair PSU in single rail mode so such a mashup should be no problem. The 12V PCIe connectors are well provisioned with power.
  4. Is the PSU monitor plugged into the motherboard USB header? Try iCue 4 and see if it can recognize the PSU
  5. HXi series surfaced on or about 2015, I have the HX1000i and it is still rock solid The RMx are more recent along with the RM (1019) and the RMi lineup
  6. contact corsair support support.corsair.com
  7. I agree, prices are way higher than they used to be. Corsair also raised the MSRP price 40% recently.
  8. I have the H115i RGB and it fits fine in my larger box and the RAM is not impacted. My RAM is G.Skill Flare X which has a heat spreader on it
  9. A UPS is not all that they are cracked up to be. Long ago they were used to keep servers running but batteries wear out fast adding to the cost. 850VA will allow you to shutdown your rig more orderly
  10. Sadly noises are a pervasive problem, and chassis fans tend to down out PSU squeeks etc
  11. I have one of those. I use a very small dab of MX-4 and my CPU is at ambient at idle. most use far too much thermal material In my Obsidian 750D, my H115i is mounted in top, fans push air up through the radiator and out the top grill. The radiator itself is attached to the top of the chassis. The fans are attached to the radiator. This is the most common configuration.
  12. On a PC, the only battery is the real time clock which is a small button type. These batteries are quite safe as motherboards are shipped with them globally.
  13. I use a larger Obsidian 750D which makes it easier to stuff hardware into it.
  14. I have not noticed anything other than short gages due to the COVID work at home Corsair has been slow to introduce new models as the existing lineup is excellent
  15. These seem to be suitable Which chassis are you using that is such a tight squeeze
  16. I use a minimal dab of MX-4 with my H115i RGB and my CPU is almost at ambient at idle. Even loaded it barely flinches, so I suspect too much thermal material which impeded thermal transfer
  17. The 540 is not quite big enough for dual radiators with cards like the RX 6000 series which are over 12 inches long. My RTX 2080 is a more mundane 10.5" in length.
  18. I was able to attach 1 screw, but the toolless side does not allow access for screws only reason is that mechanical strain of using the USB ports is the issue I want to be sure is minimized if not eliminated
  19. The Nitro+ RX 6800 XT is 310mm which is 12.2 inches or so long all the recent big NAVI 2 cards are huge
  20. you might be better off just buying a replacement 275R as they are not that expensive
  21. That is unusual as the CMOS battery is a mature technology and usually lasts longer than the average service life for a motherboard. Nice to see its figured out.
