  1. It's getting hotter and now that we're in the peak of summer, how are you handling the extra heat? Show your desk, setup, fan orientation, room setups etc. - whatever you do to keep you and your PC cool~ (and yes blinds and window coverings are also very important too!)
  2. Hi all I'm literally going crazy. I have 6 sp140 pro fans that all worked when plugged into the lighting node on its own. I have just added a commander pro with the lighting node and no matter what I do or swap around I can not get more than 3 fans to light up. All fans work up to plug 3 and nothing else onwards what the hell is going on?
  3. My newly installed H100i Elite Capellix buzzing on and off when I play something like Runescape. Is this normal behaviour, I also stress-tessed my CPU to ramp up the temp, but no sound was made during the test? What could be the problem here, I already tilted my pc and the AIO itself. AIO is top-mounted. Link to sound: https://streamable.com/sdwsmi edit: No very audible sound when idling, besides the pump noise
  4. My fans run at 1200rpm at idle on queit mode with the commander core only 3 fans not the other 3 and why cant i make custom fan curves with the CORE Like you can do with the pro. would have gotten the pro but the core came with the AIO https://prnt.sc/12hslxf
  5. Hi everybody, first of all I want to say that I am a really big fan of corsair and its products! My actually setup includes... ... Corsair Crystal Series 280x case - in white ... Corsair RM750x Power Supply - in white ... Corsair Vengance RGB Pro 64GB Kit - in white ... Corsair Hydro Series H100i RGB Platinum SE 240mm - in white ... Corsair Commander Pro ... Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 LowProfile Keyboard ... Corsair Ironclaw RGB Wireless and now we come to the real "problem"... in order to perfect my setup, I wanted to install 4 LL140s, but these are only available in black, so i had to switch to the smaller LL120s to keep my case design clean. so far so good... unfortunately it "annoys" me every time I look at my computer that the LL140 does not exist in white... I can't believe that I'm the only one who wants to have the 140mm version in white in addition to the great LL120 in white. Maybe we can generate some attention with this post and Corsair will listen to us? ;) thanks for reading... have a great day... bye! roathic PS: White PBT Keycaps for the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 LowProfile would be also very nice!!! :D
  6. I've only had the H100i RGB Platinum SE for about a year now and when I select static white the leds give off a yellowish color. I'm not sure if this is a common issue or not...
  7. Hey folks - I'm having an issue where my h100i is blinking off and on again, i'm getting the USB sound and it's driving me crazy! I'm running the v 1.01.15 on iCUE 4.9.350 Current Specs are EVGA z370 Classified K Mobo, EVGA 3080 FTW3 GPU, HX1000i Power Supply, Intel 9700k CPU, 64 GB Vengeance RGB PRO. I've looked online at a couple places saying that this might be an iCUE bug, but some people are also saying it could be a power issue Any help?
  8. Hey guys, I am in the process for picking parts to build a new PC. I was leaning towards the iCUE H150i 360 mm liquid cooler for my cpu and the Corsair LL120 120mm 3 fan pack for other cooling. The 3-pack fans come with a Corsair Lightning Node Pro and an RGB lighting hub. I want to be able to control the fan speed and rgb of all "six" fans (three in the radiator for AIO cooler and three individual fans). Do I need Commander Pro in order to do this? And what is the role of iCUE in this situation? Thanks.
  9. Hello, I'd like too use a Distroplate with a pump by EKWB (Lian Li O11D Distro-Plate G1). So i wonder if i could setup the EKWB pump like a Corsair XD5 Pump in iCue (Like if the Liquid is getting hotter, the fans spin faster) Thanks
  10. So my motherboard only has three headers and I need a splitter for all 7 of my fans, when I have two rgb fans plugged into my motherboard they work but when I plug them into the splitter they don't. Is this because the splitter doesn't get enough power and I need a fan hub? Thanks, here is the splitter. https://www.amazon.com/Fancasee-Splitter-Internal-Motherboard-Extension/dp/B07BWFT253/ref=sr_1_10?dchild=1&keywords=fan+splitter&qid=1615339129&sr=8-10
  11. I've already contacted customer support and have an open ticket (2004094175) who have told me that I should try reinstalling iCUE, but that didn't work. So I'd read that reflashing my H150i PRO RGB firmware might help with some disconnection issues I've been having, I click the "Update firmware" button in iCUE and wait for half an hour as the "Updating" button spins on the screen. Eventually I get frustrated with waiting and hit "Abort," true to the warning message that came along with clicking the "Abort" button when I restarted and logged back into Windows my H150i PRO RGB wasn't there. Since then I've tried: Uninstalling and reinstalling iCUE (didn't work) Shutting down my PC and clearing CMOS (didn't work) Attaching my H150i PRO RGB to a different USB (didn't work) Reflashing using a firmware I found on the Corsair forums (didn't work) The firmware I found on the Corsair forums was for the H150i PRO XT, and I've got the H150i PRO RGB, which may be why the manual flash didn't take. (I get an "Unhandled exception" warning when I try to use XmcBootloader.exe with the H150_Pro_XT_V1.1.31 firmware.) Customer support has told me that they DO NOT have firmware for the H150i PRO RGB, so I was hoping that maybe somebody here in the user forums might have an old copy of their firmware lying around? Or maybe some other good suggestions on how to un-brick my cooler? I don't have a backup cooler lying around, so an RMA is kind of the last resort for me. Anyway, thanks in advance for any help or suggestions you can offer!
  12. I've recently had issues with cooling with my water cooler. They've been manageable issues before, but now they're getting out of hand. At stock speeds (without any undervolting, although my board tends to overvolt my CPU so I would be undervolting anyways), my temperatures sit at around 80 degrees at idle. After applying a more appropriate voltage, temperatures sit closer to 60, sometimes dipping down to 60. This is in my new almost-bare computer room, which is converted from my garage. It gets fairly cold in here (when it's at its coldest, CPU temperatures average around 40 degrees). It's actually fine at sustaining that temperature through a gaming session (usually getting to 70, which is okay, but when you're paying any amount for a cooler rather than using the stock one, you want more than "okay"), but a run of cinebench throttles immediately and crashes my computer I was using a Thermaltake cooler for a short time after getting this one because, for a short period of time, I was using a case that wouldn't actually fit this CPU cooler due to the square profile of the radiator, and temperatures were significantly better with that than I ever got with the H115i. I switched back, however, because iCue is a vastly superior software to Thermaltake's software, but looking online, people are getting much better performance than I have been I was probably going to get a new cooler eventually anyways (maybe get a custom loop, which lots of people seem to be doing with this case anyways), so I didn't want to RMA it if I'm going to switch it out very soon, so I was wondering what everybody thought I should do, or if everybody has any suggestions on what I should try I've tried adjusting the screws on the mount itself, but those are as tight as they can go, and loosening them any amount hasn't proved effective either. I've tried separate settings (I have my own "Balanced/Quiet" profile that I made and then abandoned because it wasn't performing well enough), I've tried re-orienting the tubes to keep them away from other warm components, and I've tried new memory, which I recently just upgraded. I have not tried using another motherboard, however. While I was using my Thermaltake cooler, I was using a Mini-ITX motherboard due to it being a Mini-ITX build, but now I'm in a full-sized ATX case, so I switched back to my old Micro-ATX motherboard. The board I had before also utilized an LGA-1151 mounting style, rather than the AM4 mounting style, so my mounting pressure may be more even between the two. With all the times I've removed the cooler, however, I've gotten to see the thermal paste application and it's been already (albeit a bit heavy a few times, but I've been applying less and less) My case: Lian Li 011D Razer Edition My CPU: Ryzen 9 3900x My GPU: EVGA RTX 2080 Super Black Gaming My cooler: H115i RGB PRO XT My power supply: Corsair SF750
  13. As the title suggest I've just done a new build using the H150I RGB PRO XT and for whatever reason I'm unable to adjust the RMPs of my fans. I tried to insert an image below to show where they're stuck at. I've set them to Quiet, Balanced and Extreme and they never change from just about what you see in the image. I tried moving around the fan connector from the CPU_Fan to the AIO_Pump just to see if anything changes but nothing does. I also tried to adjust the speeds in the BIOs but nothing would let me change the speeds of those fans. I have full control of my other 4 fans in my case but for some reason I can't adjust the fans connected to my radiator. My other fans are all connected to the Commander PRO and everything is being controlled in iCUE. If anybody has any ideas I'm all ears cause I've watched Youtube videos and I've been reading forums and nothing seems to help. I even tried to setup a custom fan speed under the Performance + tool but they ever changed. So if somebody has a clue or a super informative Youtube video that I've over looked I'd really appreciate the help with this.
  14. I’ve had this PC set up for the past year and it’s worked fine. Suddenly one of the cooling fans won’t work! It happened once but I just turned it off and on again and it somehow fixed it, however I’ve done that many times now with no such luck. The other fan in the cooling duo works fine, and both fans have the rgb lights still working, I’m worried it might be a motor issue on this particular fan????? Everything else works fine, I’m just worried about the cooling!
  15. I've just recently built a new PC, and I'm trying to make it more quiet by making custom fan curves in iCUE. The issue I'm having is, no matter what I do, the fans are spinning way faster than they should be (about what they should be doing at 70 degrees when the CPU is idling at 32). Are there any common things that I may be doing wrong? Does anyone know of a good fix? I've tried changing the sensor, but it isn't really working.
  16. I recently installed a new H100i Platinum and the quiet mode is very loud. I've seen some other posts regarding this issue and some suggested to have it run overnight. I did this but the noise is still there. Interestingly enough, when I tilt the case back, the noise disappears. I've attached 2 videos, one where the case is upright and one where it is tilted. Do I have a bad pump? Is air just trapped in? Should I RMA? Any suggestions/fixes would be appreciated! Case upright, pump in "Quiet" mode: [ame] [/ame] Case tilted back, pump in "Quiet" mode. No noise!: [ame] [/ame]
  17. Hello Corsair community, So for a week now my AIO keeps disconnecting for no reason. Dont know if i had any ICUE updates or something. So the disconnects seem to be inconsistent because sometimes it doesnt disconnect at all, sometimes it disconnects after 20 minutes but bostly it disconnects after boot. I cannot control the Fans or RGB afterwards and the AIO doesnt appear in ICUE at all. I also just wasted a whole day for a Windows clean install and it didnt change anything.
  18. I plan on building a new pc, and I'm going to be using all Corsair gear in terms of cooling. I am buying an iCUE h100i RGB Pro XT, and an iCUE 220T RGB. I am buying 3 more LL120 RGB, and plan on putting 2 of those on the radiator in replacement of the default radiator fans. I want to know if I can plug those into the Node Core that comes with my case so that I can control the color. Will that affect anything to do with the radiator/cpu temperature? Thanks in advance
  19. I also have this cooler but it got bricked after firmware update. Anyone of you have his cooler and can send me a specific file? Just search for a H100_Platinum on your C drive and you should a file like this: H100_Platinum(VersionNumber).hex If you have it, can you give me it please, i lost mine bur i wanna fix my AIO.
  20. Hi, I've just bought a new custom built gaming PC with the Corsair h115i Platinum cooling system and I realized that it's making a buzzing noise that comes from the pump. I'm pretty sure it's the pump because the noise comes from the motherboard around the CPU area and If I'm not mistaken CPU's don't make any noise. It's like an electric noise and I just can hear it when I open my case side panel window and put my ear close to it. I don't think that it's coil whine as it sounds very different and it's strange but it seems that when the PC is under load the noise stops or it is nearly imperceptible. Here's a video of the noise, it seems a lot louder in this video than in reality. I wonder if its something to worry about as the PC seems to work properly ,the temps are fine and as I said I can't hear it from the outside. If it's something to worry about I will claim the warranty to the shop that sold it to me. Here' the video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1--PAamcZLMg6oN0HDWtcqlQPZJnI0qmR/view?usp=drivesdk Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
  21. I build myself a new pc with the Corsair ICUE 465x case which comes with the rgb hub commander pro and 3 LL series fans. My cooler is the Corsair H110i (comes with 2 ML fans). I also bought an extra ML fan so this could function as an exhaust fan, since the case doesn't come with one. I have 2 issues. Issue 1: I have the 2 ML fans connected to my pump connectors, so the ICUE software works fine with those, but the extra ML fan I bought to function as a rear exhaust fan has issues with the ICUE software because it is grouped with the 3 LL series fans in the commander pro. What is the best way to still get the software to work with the single ML fan? Is there a way to somehow separate it? Or do I have to purchase a LL serie fan for it to function properly? Issue 2: The 465x case is rather small and I could not install the radiator at the top, so instead I put it in the front behind 2 LL fans. Now for the rgb to properly work I have the 2 top ML fans connected to the pump, but the issue I now have is that only those fans would respond to a change in temperature, instead of the LL fans. But connecting the 2 LL fans to the pump would leave me with 2 more ML fans that wouldnt work with the ICUE software since I would still have the single LL fan in the front. Also, outside of the rgb issues, would I have cooling issues having the connected fans to the pump away from the radiator? or would the normal fan speed from the front LL fans in addition to it being watercooled do enough for it to not reach high temperatures? I'm running an AMD cpu after all ;) Thanks in advance!
  22. so hopefully I'm posting in the right place.. I have four QL fans working great till i got a new power supply ( upgraded ) i turned the pc on and now they are all white? Cant change the color in iCUE, deleted and redownloaded it, nothing seems to work. My corsair ram works just fine and i can change the color, also the fans work just not the color change. I'm not sure what else to do, i also updated everything anddd yeah I'm here now. Hoping someone can help thank you guys!
  23. Hi, sometimes I read the USB cable that goes from the H100i RGB's pump to the USB header on the motherboard as micro USB, other times as mini USB, can someone please say what cable is that exactly? micro-USB A, micro-USB-B, mini-USB-A, etc. Please name the cable ends as accurately as you can. The manual does not name the cable ends either, I have searched on this forum without a conclussive result.
  24. I have recently done a case swap and when I got to use icue with my h100i platinum icue doesn’t show it I speculate for a while and notice when I wiggle the usb connector into the cooler every so often it pops up but then it disappears however now the cable won’t even clamp in to the cooler any more I don’t Know whether to buy a new cable or if I have to buy a new cooler my commander pro works fine btw and I checked both USB ports and they both work for the commander pro I just need to know whether I need to buy a new cooler or just a new cable if a cable can someone link me to it please Thank you for reading
  25. Hi all, Have edited this request to be more to the point: I'm trying to install my H150i RGB PRO XT pump on to my CPU but am finding it difficult to position it with the Corsair logo facing the correct direction. I saw some posts saying it doesn't matter which way the logo goes but I called Corsair and they said you must install with the logo facing up. As can be seen from the attached photos, the pump does just about fit with the logo the right way up but I'm holding it with some force here. When I release the pressure, the pump head naturally springs 90 degrees clockwise so that the top of the logo faces to the right. I think the side intake position is causing the issue. Is this normal and is it fine to still screw the pump onto the CPU with logo facing up and let the screws hold the tension? Do my tubes look fine or are the bends too sharp? Thank you for any help
