  1. OK thanks... hopefully not too long to wait...
  2. oh well... was good while it lasted I guess! something tells me this may not be fixed for a while!
  3. Yup, this is the issue i have as well... half the RGB is iCue, other half seems to be Aura... doh!
  4. Have updated to the latest iCUE 4.10.273 and Aura Sync/Armory Crate and my RGB control of the Asus Strix 3090 now seems to be broken - is this a known issue? Can't seem to get it back working again no matter what I try?
  5. Yeah, I'm sticking with the sphere lighting on my LG monitor for video lighting, works ok and without the FPS impact. LS100 now against the back edge of my desk casting against the wall, matching case RGB... Looks pretty good. Still, hopefully Corsair can fix this
  6. Installing now, did it fix your FPS impact issues? No change for me ... 19975 in Timespy without video lighting, 18120 with it on.. unacceptable impact
  7. Is anyone else getting similar impacts of GPU performance with ambient lighting on? Really curious to see if this is widespread or not.
  8. You sure you have got LL series fans selected in lighting setup in iCue?
  9. no, nothing from Corsair. Monitor is LG 38GN950 - https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/gaming/pc-gaming/gaming-monitors/lg-ultragear-38gn950-b-quad-hd-38-curved-nano-ips-lcd-gaming-monitor-black-10205235-pdt.html
  10. I've stopped using video lighting, probably going to take the strips off and use them elsewhere... I have an LG monitor with inbuilt ambient light, not as good as LS100 but no real impact on FPS. Impact with LS100 is INSANE in games! Can't believe this is being talked about as a bigger issue, assuming most people who are buying LS100 are gamers looking for more immersive experience
  11. 10% GPU usage or so average with ambient lighting on, 0.2% with it off. Is this normal? Really enjoy the immersive effect, but not at this resource cost. Are there any ways to reduce this impact?
  12. Yup - hope they can fix this... should be easy enough for them
  13. "Will give 3DMark a go soon to see if it does anything." Just posted in other thread - 20k with ambient lighting off, 17800 with it on in timespy, so yeah, pretty big impact
  14. Yeah, been benchmarking with my 3090 ROG Strix, and it's well over 20k with ambient lighting off, and 17840 with it on! So it's a pretty big drain... Interestingly, my monitor is an LG monitor which has ambient lighting via LG Ultra gear, and doesn't have the same issue. Are Corsair aware of this!?
  15. Awesome thanks... Corsair should offer a degree in this stuff!
  16. You're right, think i'm talking about the Hub and not the LNP... so many similar looking little black boxes! Is the fan hub splitter an official Corsair product, or aftermarket? EDIT - so double checked my LL120 3 pack box and actually have: 1 CoPro, 1 LNP and 2 RGB hubs So... 4 fans in each hub, both connected to the LNP on one channel each. That will leave 2 channels on the CoPro. 6 fans on CoPro and 2 on H100. Sound about right? EDIT 2 - Actually... there's already a LNP in the case as well.. so make that 2 LNPs... So yeah, I think I'm covered!
  17. Hi, Going to be upgrading from a 460x to a 680x soon as really like the idea of dual compartment for easy upgrading and cable management. I'll be going from 4 LL120 fans to 8 LL120 fans and need some help with setup. I have a Commander Pro and I will have 2 lighting node pros - 6 fans will go into the Commander and 2 into my H100 AIO so all good there. RGB will be split across the 2 lighting node pros. Currently I have one lightning node pro going into 1 RGB channel of the commander and I have a RGB gpu bracket plugged into (via nifty adapter I got on eBay) plugged into the other RGB channel as a lighting strip and it works great. So my issue is for the new setup I'm down one RGB channel on the Commander... is there a way for me to join the 2 lightning node pros as one channel... ie. Can i plug the RGB header into an empty slot on 1 pro and connect that pro to the Commander? Thanks!
  18. 3.32.80 crashing when PM wakes from sleep... same issue they had several versions back here again :(
  19. thanks - i worked out the rear exhaust fan is on CPU_FAN, so there is something on that header... all looks to be working OK, but will probably do as you say and move the 3pin to CPU_FAN and move the rear exhaust to a more appropriate header... if I can bring myself to deal with the snakes nest of wires...
  20. nevermind... think i've fixed it! Turns out the fans were connected directly to the motherboard and not the H100 splitter... interesting build decision... Probably should have checked that first though...
  21. Hi, Looking for some guidance... I have a h100i pro which is reporting 0 rpm on both fans in icue (see pic). This isn't my build, but I can see that there is a 4pin connector on the CPU_OPT header and a 3pin with 1 cable on the CPU_FAN header... I've shown this in the pic attached... I have tried setting CPU_FAN to full speed based on some reading here... which does change the fan speed but it still shows as 0rpm in icue, so no fan speed control. I'm thinking it's something to do with how the headers are connected, but really not sure. Thoughts?
  22. I lost 4 fans ports in a week after all of them working flawlessly for 9 months! RMA underway. Only had 3 SP120 RGB fans plugged in, no splitters, so 0.9a. Any idea why this happens?
  23. Well.. I fixed it... by randomly changing usb ports... or something... weird!
  24. Hi, Noticed that my keyboard was showing the default onboard RGB profile and not the iCUE one. Rebooted and no change. In iCUE there is a red triangle/exclamation mark indicating something isn't right. Have uninstalled and reinstalled iCUE a few times and no joy. iCUE settings does not let me update firmware or clear memory, the app just crashed. Firmware say v.? and it was up to date before. Also, keyboard not showing up in iCUE after reboot until I unplug and back in again. I have tried this a couple times, no luck: 1. Open Device manager 2. Locate Human Interface Device 3. Locate and right click on "Corsair Compositive Virtual Input Device" 4. Select Uninstall Device and click the checkbox to delete drivers 5. Restart the computer 6. Perform a soft reset on the keyboard, hold the ESC as you plug the keyboard back in and release after 20 seconds. Totally at a loss here... any ideas?? Thanks!
  25. Any update on this one? Pretty annoying issue...
