  1. I'm planning to replace my LL with 6x QL fans. I currently have LED strips on LNP ch 1 and the LL on LNP ch 2 via RGB hub. Can the QL connect to the RGB hub and LNP ch 2 or do I need to use the LNC? Will my profiles apply the previous effects that were on the LL (LNP ch 2) to the QL on the LNC? If not will I least still have the effects imported into the lighting layer section available to re-apply?
  2. Is it possible to get my Dominator RGB DIMM temps into the Nexus? I can't find this as an option in the libraries.
  3. I only want the motherboard lighting control in CUE but I don't want to run another hardware ecosystem's software (Armory Crate) just to be able to do that. If Asus agreed perhaps CUE could have standalone control of Asus motherboard lighting.
  4. There appears to be a bug with the CUE Asus Plugin in 4.15/4.16 and Aura (Lighting Control 1.07.84) in that it causes CUE to severely lag going into HW mode when the CUE service is terminated, i.e. System reboot. It can hang on the last software profile for 20-30 seconds.
  5. The AuraServicesetup appears to install everything it normally would except the Aura app itself. An even more streamlined install would be better. I can confirm the Asus CUE plugin works with AuraServicesetup and AacMBsetup manually. The reason I've uninstalled again is because there currently seems to be a bug with CUE 4.15 onwards and the plugin in that there is a very large lag in devices going from software mode to HW mode when CUE is exited, i.e. system reboot. I don't know if the Aura installed with Armory Crate is having this issue or not. I'm about to report the bug in another thread now.
  6. I'm wondering why you have six fan readings for the H150i. Do you have six fans connected to the H150i? What headers are those fans plugged into? CPU OPT is a fan header so HWiNFO and CUE are reading that correctly. What fans do you have you plugged into Sys fan 1 and 2? I don't know of many fans that reach 5150 RPM.
  7. Forgot to mention I'm referring to custom cooling presets with the Commander Pro.
  8. I am trying to copy some custom cooling presets of mine. When I copy the selected preset it makes a copy of a non selected preset instead. When I delete a selected preset it's deleting a non selected preset.
  9. I know quite a lot of people who don't want to run the Asus Armory Crate software and the standalone AURA is now discontinued. Is it at all possible Corsair could integrate the required AURA components directly into CUE 4 without the need for running either Armory Crate (or the discontinued AURA) and a plugin?
  10. How do I set custom icons in the Nexus? The only option I have are the generic CUE icons and no option to browse local folders.
  11. So if there are no lighting effects loaded onto the Asus GPU plugin will it just sit there doing nothing? I don't mind it being there but I don't really want it using additional system resources if I am not using it.
  12. I have the Asus GPU plugin in CUE 4 but I cannot use it I presume because my Asus GPU is installed onto an EKWB waterblock with it's own LED's. I use the Asus motherboard plugin but would like to remove the Asus GPU plugin from showing in CUE 4. Is that possible?

  14. CUE CPU Vcore reading from the Asus Z590 Maximus XIII Hero is inaccurate. Currently I have manual override Vcore set at 1.270V in the BIOS. CUE reads 1.4V. Could this please be looked into?
  15. I have also experienced this lately where some fans refuse to respond to changes in my presets i.e. changing from custom curve to fixed RPM. This actually happened to me tonight and rebooting the machine corrected it.
  16. Maybe Asus changed this with Z590. On Z590 it seems to predict VCCSA/IO rather than give you the max levels at the outset. I was already using VCCIO 1.3V and VCCSA 1.35V manually but running into errors with my RAM overclocks. The errors went away when I took Asus auto values for IO/SA. However I also suspect CPU Vcore is linked to RAM OC stability and may have not have had truly stable Vcore. I think I have Vcore sorted now and could try lowering IO/SA. I'm pushing a quad channel 3466 kit to 3866 CL 16. Quad channel is going to put more strain on the CPU IMC, Vcore IO and SA voltages. It all needs to be stable... So did you try per core yourself?
  17. The issue doesn't seem to be CPU usage but something to do with the per core functionality as c-attack mentions. If you instead set core ratio to sync all cores the CPU happily enters low power C-states and Speedshift with CUE 4 running.
  18. Asus set auto value VCCSA/VCCIO relevant to what memory frequency and timings you have dialed in. As I'm overclocking quad channel memory I think the voltages are relevant and offer the most stability. I don't think Asus provide these voltages if they're unsafe. I believe the high thread usage is mostly related to CUE. I've attached a screenshot of what my task manager typically looks like. Closing the CUE software off will instantly let the CPU enter relax into Speedshift and C-States so the usage and clock frequency is not related to any other program/background process. 1.4V is very normal when using Thermal Velocity Boost to boost the CPU to 5.3Ghz or beyond in light load desktop loads. Under heavy load the core ratio will drop according to temperature limits set with TVB. In my case I let it drop to 5.1Ghz all core at around 1.3V. These voltages can be offset further with the V/F curve.
  19. Dear CUE 4 software team, There is a high level issue with CUE 4 in which CUE 4 prevents the CPU from entering low power C-States/Speedshift when Core ratio: per core overclocking is used. I am using an Asus motherboard but I believe per core overclocking is common on other branded motherboards as well. Similarly CUE 4 will prevent the CPU entering low power states when Intel's Thermal Velocity Boost feature is enabled. Please see attached screenshots of where these options reside in the Asus BIOS as well as a HWiNFO screenshot from my system demonstrating the issue in which the core clocks are kept at maximum frequency with CUE 4 running when the system is idle. If this can be looked into it would be much appreciated.
  20. No third party device. The issue is with HW mode (when the CUE software isn't running). The HW dpi buttons on the mouse won't cycle. I notice pressing the center button on the mouse causes the dpi leds to change various colors and sometimes allows the dpi buttons to start cycling. Of course the other issue is the custom dpi I save to the mouses HW mode never actually saves. I can tell because when I can cycle the dpi buttons in HW mode the dpi feels much lower than what I saved in iCUE.
