  1. Nope, no space for an INTERNAL optical drive. Get an external one.
  2. Try a different USB cable. Sounds like it's only transmitting power, not data.
  3. Clarify "won't boot" - can't get into Windows, can't get to a BIOS loading screen, what ? Can you boot into safe mode? If so, disable iCUE from startup, go back to normal mode. Can you get into Windows normal mode after that?
  4. Why would the store it's purchased at change the build quality?
  5. For product support, it's best to just create a support ticket. That way you know you're going to get a response.
  6. I think they're at %APPDATA%\Corsair\CUE5\profiles - or C:\Users\<NAME>\AppData\Roaming\Corsair\CUE5\profiles for the full path (replacing <NAME> with your Windows username of course). NOTE: I don't have iCUE installed, so I could be wrong.
  7. Hold Windows key and hit tab. That'll show all programs with a UI that are open. Do you see it?
  8. That guy works for AseTek, not Corsair (see his Reddit profile). I'd assume he was talking to an AseTek engineer, not a Corsair one. If you want silence, what about an air cooler?
  9. Do you have signatures turned off? You can check here: https://forum.corsair.com/settings/signature/ . Alternatively if you're on mobile, it looks like they're turned off by default in the back end. Fair point, probably the wrong term. I probably should've just started with the assumption part and/or instead mentioned critical thinking. Respectfully, I'd say requiring a PhD to use a phrase like that may be a bit excessive, but to each their own. It's all good! In any case, it comes down to repeatability and trust but verify. I'm only reading about the end result (15% reduction in benchmark results) and don't have data between the beginning and end of the benchmark test(s), so I have questions. As for not disputing something - did they explicitly verify it, or explicitly comment on it? If you have links that would be greatly appreciated.
  10. What I meant was, you said you were going to edit your post to remove it, but you didn't know you wouldn't be able to after 5 minutes. So, I proactively did it for you.
  11. Corsair Albert was clear - MESSAGE him. Don't post in this thread. I've updated his post to make that section bigger and more obvious.
  12. Got a link? Couldn't find one myself. Also, post editing is limited to 5 min. I've removed the links. I'd suggest PMing the links to them if you don't want them public.
  13. See my sig: No, I don't work for Corsair. I've just been on the forum since before Corsair joined it 🙂 Started out as houseofhelp.com. No, I don't think you're bashing Corsair (and yes, that's allowed within reason). I just lean towards the scientific method. Being on here for 21 years, I've seen tons of people claim this and that without evidence and/or full testing. Effect before cause and all that. Then when they think it through a bit more, their claim/argument doesn't always hold water. Sometimes it does, and that's either because of their logic and/or in spite of it. Scientifically speaking, let's assume 15% drop is accurate (not saying you're wrong, I just don't have one to validate myself, nor have I looked up any reviews on that system). How did the test run? Is there data on the CPU / GPU temps during the run? Is there evidence for/against thermal throttling during the run, or did it run below thermal max for the entire run (or did something other than these scenarios happen)? I've seen discussions about thermals before, but this is the first explicit BIOS modification I've seen someone mention. Haven't read every post either, so I may have missed something. A BIOS setting could be the answer, but it could still be an unmodified BIOS. For example (and note that I don't know much about BIOS settings), can the temp at which thermal throttling starts be changed? e.g. from say 9x C to 6x C?
  14. Which specific K95 do you have? What's the part number on the back? Starts with CH- .
  15. There's a part number on one of the short sides of the radiator. What is it? That'll tell you exactly which cooler you have.
  16. What are you talking about? Are you saying you think they're underclocking CPUs, or are you saying the cooling needs to improve so that the CPU doesn't thermal throttle itself?

    Musicbee?

Are you saying that you think Windows 10 is a mobile OS wrapped and reskinned around Windows 7? Are you asking if a Musicbee plugin that hasn't been updated in 2 years is part of iCUE?
  18. I think he meant 3440x1440. His specs say he has the Samsung 34" SJ55W Ultra WQHD Monitor (3440x1440)
  19. Have you contacted their support yet? If so, which one - Brazilian support or global support? Post your ticket number so it can be brought to their attention. If not, create a ticket: Brazil: https://suporte-corsair.com.br/ Global: https://www.corsair.com/support
  20. This post doesn't make a lot of sense to me. 1. Do you want to be able to use the iCUE visualizer without using a Corsair headset? 2. What policy do you have an issue with? 3. You'd like a one button export for settings/profiles? 4. If you have an issue with a product one week after purchasing it you should reach out to the store, or to Corsair at https://help.corsair.com .
  21. Have you created a ticket for your issue? https://help.corsair.com
  22. Correct, there hasn't. The list of Corsair Employees on the forum can be found here, under Corsair Employees.
  23. That looks like it's referring to when you need a replacement ASAP. If you choose to buy a 2nd one for a quick replacement, Corsair won't refund the 2nd purchase for you. If you need a quick replacement they have an Advanced RMA - and that's what the "See below for details." links to. This is the part that applies in general to an eBay purchase (presumably from a person and not an authorized reseller). As for the bit about the items and authorized / unauthorized resellers - I haven't seen that before, must be a recent addition to the warranty text. It'll be interesting to find out why it's there. DevBiker, the wording's odd, but yeah, if you purchase from NewEgg on eBay your warranty's intact. An authorized seller's an authorized seller.
