  1. Hello, I recently purchased the Virtuoso RGB Wireless XT yesterday. When I got home and plugged it in, double checking it was set to USB mode, it would not play any sound. I tried checking the input and output devices and device manager and it does not even register it as connected despite it lighting up to show its charging. I have tried switching all USB ports and none are working with ti despite working with other devices that are also wireless/wired. (Note: I use these devices wired as well, my mouse for example). Thinking maybe I needed drivers I went to the website and tried to find specific drivers, between that and the user guide, I downloaded iCue V5. It will not recognize the headset there either. At this point, I just wanted to try anything to see if it would work, so I plugged in the wireless doggle and it immediately recognized the headset and set it as the default input/output device in sound settings. It prompted me to install firmware updates for the headset and wireless doggle in iCue V5, So I downloaded the updates and rebooted when prompted. Afterwards, it still would not work in wired mode, and if the wireless doggle is unplugged the computer and iCue fails to recognize it. If switched over to Wireless mode it will immediately start playing sound. Switching back to wired mode causes all sound to disappear. At this point I started searching for help online, I have tried uninstall the drivers in device manager, deleting all corsair folders in program files, deleting the registry entries for corsair in the local machine and user sections, and uninstall iCue V5 before restarting my computer. After restarting I tried just plugging in the computer and it still wouldn't recognize it. I had to plug in the doggle and reinstall iCue to get it to show up at all, and again it will only work in wireless mode. I have tried using iCue V4 without any luck either. I'm at my wits end here, there are no windows updates to perform. I am all out of ideas, I am waiting to hear from support, but at this point I don't know if it is just this headset, or if its a problem with the Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless Xt, I am leaning towards the latter as it seems to be a common problem over the years especially in 2023-2024. None of the fixes that people have recommended over the years has worked for me.
