NPC
So, I accidentally dropped a cookie on my keyboard after dipping it in milk. I cleaned all of my keys and replaced them, but now when I hit my 'B' key random letters appear. I have a Corsair Strafe and I have never seen this happen. The key seems to work fine when the backlight is turned off, but when it's on the key goes all spammy. I tried to go into the Corsair keyboard application and manually light up the key and it worked fine, but when I hit the backlight key on my keyboard that seems to mess it up. Toasted
Could a bit of liquid shorting a circuit?
Corsair Employee Corsair Henry Posted April 5, 2017 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 5, 2017 Call into tech support for a hard reset to see if it fixes it, but if liquid was involved it may have shorted like what Toasted said.
NPC
Forgot to comment back. After I made this post, I took the keycap off and ended up using a cotton swab to try and dry the circuit. The key seems to be working fine now.
