Is there any easy way to switch between Speakers and Headset?

Hi guys. I have a small trivial problem. I listen to music on my 2.1 surround speaker and I use my H2100 Headset for gaming. When I want to switch devices I have go to "playback devices" and set as default whichever device I want. eg. If I want to use my H2100 I have to mark it as default and when I want to use my speakers I have to select Realtek Audio as default device. Is there a way to make the H2100's work by just turning them on? I know it's silly but I find it inconvenient to have to mark the device as default for it to work. I would appreciate any applicable advice.

Unfortunately, that is not possible to do in Windows without extra software.

 

An alternative would be to use third party software that will allow you to quickly switch the default audio device.
