ffcm
Hi, I noticed a fan-like connector coming from the pump unit that has only one wire. I also found a lot of people saying a lot of different things about it. The wire connects to the pin used for the tachometer read. So, is it for reading pump speed or fans speed? Thanks! snapper69
The single pin connector should be connected to the cpu fan header, it is purely to tell the motherboard that there is a fan there and therefore to allow the computer to boot. c-attack
As above, with the side effect of reporting half the pump speed to the BIOS and other monitoring programs. Use Link to change pump or fans speeds, not the BIOS.
