NJMike
Ever since last Sunday (April 28th), my PSU fan has been turning on and off constantly while under load; it will attempt to rev up, then it will slow back down to a halt and emits a rattling noise. This process cycles infinitely so long as I am under load. During idle, it remains off as it is designed. I've tried using compressed air into the fan and exhaust area, thinking maybe some dust or debris were inside causing it to struggle. I have had this PSU since December 2022 as it was a gift from a friend who was building a new PC. It has never had issues with the fan or rattling noises. I am wondering if anyone can help me fix it, or if the PSU is too old and likely dying? For anyone needing a visual/audio reference, I have provided a video that someone else had recorded that displays my exact problem (albeit I do not have the M model).
