  1. I am a proud owner of a Corsair Carbide Air 540. I have a Corsair H115i mounted on the top as exhaust. I recently got fortunate enough to purchase the EVGA GeForce RTX 3090 FTW3 ULTRA HYBRID GAMING. My question is would it's 240mm radiator + plus fit into my system in the front? And if so should the fans intake or exhaust? Thanks
  2. Finished building custom loop few days ago but noticed in benchmarks like Port Royal Stress Test, Metro Exodus and Gears 5 all giving lower average FPS. I don't get this as my now water cooled RTX 3090 (Zotac) is running perfectly fine on the temperature side of things, as it's 55-60 on load which sounds fine. Coolant temp is around 40 degrees on load... Anyone know what's going on?
  3. Would like to build a custom loop for my system but unsure about mixing different brands/products. Got all the Corsair Hydro parts I need apart from GPU block which is out of stock (reference 3090) Are alphacool and EK GPU blocks compatible with Corsair fittings and softline tubing? Also, does it matter about the coolant? Corsair XL5 Performance would be fine to mix with other GPU brand coolers? These are the GPU blocks I am thinking about getting: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-quantum-vector-trinity-rtx-3080-3090-d-rgb-nickel-plexi?___store=default https://www.overclockers.co.uk/alphacool-eisblock-aurora-gpx-n-rtx-3090-3080-graphics-card-water-block-reference-acrylic-wc-0bj-ac.html What you think? Very much appreciate advice/help :)
  4. What is the recommended cable setup for the required three PCIe 8 Pin cables needed for the EVGA RTX 3090 FTW Ultra (if I can ever beat out the bots in getting one) using a Corsair HX850 (CP-9020138-NA)? Do I run two of the PCIe 8 pin (6+2) cables, with connecting both of the 6+2 pins on one cable and have just one 6+2 pin on the other cable connected? Or do I need to run three PCIe 8 pin (6+2) cables and only connect one 6+2 pin from each cable? Thanks for your feedback!!
  5. Preparing your PC for the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-series cards? Read up on what this means for your power supply and power cables to keep a clean looking build! https://www.corsair.com/us/en/blog/prepare-for-nvidia-30-series TL;DR RTX 30-Series Founders Edition cards include an adapter that converts two dedicated PCIe power cables into the 12-pin connector. We're producing a full cable that connects to two PCIe/CPU ports on your Type 3 / Type 4 PSU to eliminate the increased resistance of an adapter (and cut down on clutter for those that take pride in pristine cable management). Link to form to be notified when the cable is ready (I've been told users on mobile are having issues with the link in the article) https://sdqk.me/oLLuei1j/sign-up-for-corsair-12-pin-psu-cable-updates#/enter
