Rubes
Hi, I've been using a CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 650W PSU in my new system for about two months now. I've been having some problems with my computer freezing (usually under load, but not always) or simply turning itself off. I've monitored the temperature of the CPU and video card and they haven't been over-heating. Could this be the result of a faulty PSU? Should I request an RMA? wlw_wl
You should troubleshoot further. For example make sure that the reboots aren't associated with BSODs, if so what errors are reported. PSU fault is possible, but rather a long shot not a first candidate.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted March 7, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 7, 2012 I would tend to agree, please check the event log and see of there are any errors logged that may be attributing to these symptoms.
