Xzeox
How exactly do I get this Ram to run at 1600mhz? Using EVGA's new XMP option in the bios doesn't seem to work. The whole system locks up after a few minutes. The same thing happens when I put in the timings. Am I missing something?
Legend
Go to the EVGA website for the latest bios released 3/2/09. This bios version should resolve some minor XMP issues. http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=100503682
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted March 4, 2009 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 4, 2009 And have you seen this post created by an EVGA employee?
Xzeox
And have you seen this post created by an EVGA employee? Yes, I have... what is that supposed to do for me? I said I've set the ram to the default timings, and also have the latest bios with XMP. Neither setting the bios to XMP Profile 1 or setting the default timings have worked. I've also completed memtest86+ 3 times for all 3 sticks.

Xzeox
That's my problem, I don't know which voltages to change and to what amount.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted March 5, 2009 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 5, 2009 Try clearing your BIOS, reboot to the BIOS, and manually set: Vdimm: 1.65v QPI 1.35v Timings, 8-8-8-24 , 2T
