CaptainMike47
I recently purchased a Corsair MM800 RGB Mouse-pad, however it doesn't seem to show up in the CUE software. I am somewhat new to CUE so perhaps I'm missing something. I have a Corsair Mouse plugged in through the pass-though and that works, and the lighting works on the mouse-pad, however the MM800 still doesn't show up in CUE. I've tried with and without the mouse plugged into it, and plugging it into a USB 2.0 port (since sometimes devices have trouble with 3.0 or 3.1). I plan on installing the latest version of CUE from the Corsair site (which shows as a different version number than mine) and see if that effects it. Also, when I go to update it it says it's on the latest version yet it doesn't detect it. Also, Device Management doesn't seem to see the mouse-pad either (or I cannot locate it) however it does function and the pass-through works. What I'd like to know is if anyone has seen this before, or has an idea of the root cause or a fix for it. Any ideas are most welcome, and thank you in advance! terabyte
From what you said I think you have CUE 1.x installed, is that correct? If so it is normal that the mouse pad is not recognized, support for it is included only in the newer CUE 2.x version.
CaptainMike47
It appears you were correct, strange when I went to download the drivers initially it didn't show me version 2.x, and 1.x refused to detect a new version. Either way I finally got 2.x installed and that did the trick. On a side note, the Visor effect synced across my K70, M65, Void Headset, and MM800 look really cool! I will enjoy playing around with these settings.

Corsair Employee Corsair James Posted October 27, 2016 Corsair Employee Share Posted October 27, 2016 Make sure that if you're using USB 3.0, you're updating it with the motherboard drivers and not from Windows defaullt drivers (Windows 10). We have issues with Asmedia MS drivers but their own drivers work without any issues.

Should I uninstall the Asmedia? You want to install what is available on ASUS' website. For your motherboard, here is the direct link to that driver: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/usb30/Asmedia_USB3_V116351.zip?_ga=1.2097456.1888679076.1477603962

Comet 1626864951
My mouse pad has only been seen to show colors a few times, and briefly. Normally it just sits there like an inert mouse pad, and doesn't show up in CUE. snapper69
You may want to edit your email address out of your post, along with any other personal info there may be. 1) Are you using the latest version of Cue? 2) Is your mouse pad plugged into one of the motherboard usb sockets rather than an expansion card or a hub? etakeo
Hi, I'm facing a very strange scenary. I have Corsair KB Strafe, Vengeange Memories and MM800 mousepad RGB lights controled by iCUE 3.6.109 and ROG Maximus X Formula and one watercooler pump RGB lights controled by ASUS Aura Sync. I also have a ROG Pugio mouse RGB that can be controled by Aura, but I prefer his own software ROG Armoury that have more options to control the mouse lights. However, when I run ROG Armoury software, the MM800 desappears in iCUE !!! Before open ROG Armoury software, MM800 is operating in iCUE. I just double click in Armoury software and MM800 desappear like magic from iCUE. After that, closing Armoury and restaing iCUE does not bring MM800 back. I need to restart system. I can not understand this behavior. They are connected to separate USB ports. There are no conections among each other. Any ideia why and how to handle with this ? I know Corsair are not interested in doing something with Asus to get better compatibility amoung his softwares, as I read in others thread, but once Corsair do not sell motherboards, this incompatibilities issues will go on. Most Corsair users own an Asus Motherboard and Aura Sync and Rog Armoury has problens in work together iCUE.
