starky14
Hi there, I recently changed my stock fans on my h80i cooler to the sp120 Quiet editions. It makes a huge difference in noise which is brilliant. However, i have noticed the top of my case is getting very hot! My question is, what is the best case for cooling? I want to change my case to one where i can fit lots more fans. Having the extra fans will hopefully stop the top getting hot, right? If somebody could clarify that would be great. Thank you. thenosbod
I am not familiar with that case. but going by the link below it as got room for a few fans. is this you case. what fans have you got fitted. in what position and if set as an intake or exhaust would be a help. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-083-ZA&groupid=2362&catid=
starky14
Hi thanks for answering. I have my 2 corsair sp120s attached to the radiator taking the air out (exhaust). I have one fan in the top of the case pushing air in. One in the front pushing air in and one on the side panel.
HOODedAssault
The one on the side pushing air in or out. I'd have top and h80i exhaust and front and side as intake. Prob change the front to a 140mm.
Protocol48
Thank you. You just want lots of fans!. One that comes to mind is the Rosewill BLACKHAWK Gaming ATX Mid Tower which has 5 Fans installed, supports up to 10 Fans!
HOODedAssault
U want space too not just fans. 900D or 750D. Air 540 is quite the beast too. Supporting 3x120mm front 2x120mm/140mm top and 1x120/140mm rear. I love mine but I'd trade it for a 750D in a second.
starky14
Hi guys, thanks for all your help. I will be investing in a new case the 700d does look good thanks :) also, I have a h80i cooler. Would you use the fans as exhaust or intake on the radiators? Thanks
HOODedAssault
I'd use them as exhaust. You mean the 750D right. 700d is just an 800d with no side window. Not the best for cooling either.
starky14
Sorry yes, I do mean the 750D. :)
Grouch86
I'm using the 750D and i love it, so much room for cable managment and space for upgrading in the future. Almost too much room for what I need but i'm not complaining. I also just purchased a nzxt h440 (i got it mostly because its black and orange, Im a SF giants fan and its my giants themed build), i dont think they are great for cooling but I will let you know what I find. RDhanur
I use C70 especially because it has 2 slot for 120/140mm SIDE fans to chilled your north bridge area and VGA. Two 120/140mm fans can be attached on upper side and front side. One 120mm on back side
