  1. Hi All, Apologies if there is already a thread addressing this - I searched but couldn't find anything relevant. I'm new to Corsair cases and am just getting prepped for a build. I've got the Carbide 678c ready to go, but I'm looking to install a 360mm AIO in the top and it seems to require removing the Optical tray to get that done. There doesn't however, to my eyes, seem to be a way to remove the tray and it isn't mentioned in the manual at all. All of the HDD trays are easy to move around so I assumed the ODD tray would be similar in nature. If anyone has any insight they can share - I'd greatly appreciate the help. I've seen some images online of people who've fit 360mm AIOs online - but this optical tray is really tripping me up. Thanks in advance for any help.
  2. Now that it's getting cooler, how are you adjusting your battlestation accordingly? Are you adding a fall touch? Show your desk, setup, fan orientation, room setups etc. with that extra pumpkin spice touch?
  3. Ive been putting together my own PC for the last few weeks. I want to get my Case today and am wondering. I have the Corsair H115i RGB Platinum cooler and i wanna mount it on the top. My Ram sticks are Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro and a Asus Rog Strix Z390-E Gaming mobo. Ive heard this combo works and doesnt work from different people. The Vengeance Ram sticks are 51mm. The Airflow 4000D case has great reviews and is relatively cheap but i wanna avoid mounting my cpu cooler on the front. Is this combo now possible or not? Again, Corsair H115i RGB Platinum top mount, Corsair 4000D Airflow, Asus Rog strix Z390-E Gaming + 51mm Vengeance RAM Sticks. Cheers
  4. Hi All, I have a h150i elite cappelix, which I want the fans to be managed by the commander pro. Obviously I still need the commander core to wire up the pump. So see my design below. I have a 5000X case. What I did is: - removed the PWM fan controller included in the case --> wired it up to the commander PRO - Used the commander PRO as the FAN controller for the H150i fans - Connected all casefans and H150I fans to the RGB hub included with the case - Connected the Pump to the commander core So my concrete question is: Will the H150 elite cappelix setup work with this setup? Or do I have to connect the fans and RGB to the commander core in order to get it working?
  5. What’s the largest figurine/figure you have put in your build? Do you have any tips on keeping it safe from the heat/disfiguration? I think the worry I have the most with any of my figurines is the heat tolerance. Hence why I’m usually just leaving my figurines in cases that are open and exposed. Also, yes it's a Nendoroid.
  6. SFW pictures and explanations please! (The more exposed the better?!) Here is my example: The reason it's exposed is so that it can also house the figurines that I constantly swap in and out, depending on my mood.
  7. "If you can't handle me at my worst, you can't handle me at my best!" Show us your cable management glow ups! You can do it meme style if you'd like!
  8. It's getting hotter and now that we're in the peak of summer, how are you handling the extra heat? Show your desk, setup, fan orientation, room setups etc. - whatever you do to keep you and your PC cool~ (and yes blinds and window coverings are also very important too!)
  9. We know you guys have been wanting this since we showed off Concept Slate at Computex last year... So today we're proud to announce that the new Obsidian Series 1000D has been released to the wild! https://www.corsair.com/us/en/obsidian-1000d-case [ame] [/ame]
  10. Hi I have recently bought Corsair CC-9011166-WW Carbide SPEC-Delta RGB Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX PC Gaming Case - Black. The text spec at amazon does not make clear that for the RGB fans to run and light up it requires an RGB motherboard, which i dont have ( requirements for fans to run should be clearer) I tried to solve problem with a Corsair Commander PRo. Alsas the fans now run but still no RGB lights . I think the dable connection is incompatible. I was told that there was no solution for the installed fans. That the only solution would be to replace them with "Corsair CO-9050104-WW iCUE QL120 RGB, 120 mm RGB LED PWM Fans (102 Individually Addressable RGB LEDs, Speeds Up to 1,500 RPM, Low-Noise) Triple Pack with iCUE Lighting Node CORE Included - White". I note that this includes the Lighting Node Core which i cannot find anywhere as an individual component. At this point i am not sure i have confidence in my advisor and i wonder if you can help me understand 1. Can the current fans , installed in my case work spin and light up with the addition of any other hub or controller. Maybe it's just the Lighting node core for lights to attached to the commander pro and then on with sata to psu? OR 2. Is there something i am missing or doing wrong and it either can work without anything additional or with another part OR FINALLY 3. is it correct that i must buy the white fans i lit above and replace the fans in my case to get the RGB lights working and why would that be? Do the fans have a different connector, or do the fans simply need the included lighting node Core. thanks Pic of case i bought https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07KGSJRC3/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza
  11. Hey Guys, When I use sleep mode on the windows, The cabinet's Power button and Sail logo on the front side blinks but the Corsair text and logo on the side turns off instead of blinking. When I wake the system light turn on again without any issue. Any idea why it's not blinking like the front side logo and powerbutton. Thanks
  12. Guys i wanna put a Powercolor rx 6800xt gpu in my corsair 220t case. The issue is the size of the card is 320mm. Is there any way i can get this card to fit in my case? i love the powercolor rgb and think it will look beautiful combined in the 220t. any advice? i already have my 220t case btw. Thanks guys
  13. So i got my PC a few weeks ago, and i noticed that my power button is red. On every youtube video i looked up, the power button seems to be white. What is causing this and is it something to be concerned of? The power button has been red since i got it i believe, otherwise not something i noticed right away. I know my way around a PC, but this is new to me.
  14. Hello, I have a Corsair Crystal 570X case that I have installed 6 LL120 fans into (3 in the front, 2 attached to a Corsair h100iv2, and 1 rear exhaust) that I am having trouble with. They are all working properly and the RGB cycles through in order but I can no longer find them using the iCUE software and therefore I cannot control the RGB for. I first noticed the issue once I removed the little controller that was at towards the back and on the back side of the case (thinking this only allowed controls through the case itself with the buttons on top.) I have a commander pro as well but I never installed it as I did not need it prior to having this issue once I removed the controller that was pre-installed. (I was also trying to minimize cables in the case as I have an NZXT HUE+ and an extra USB hub inside the case. My main question is would removing the pre-installed fan controller have caused an issue where iCUE can no longer detect any devices in my PC (6 LL120 fans along with an h100i) iCUE is up to date as well on update 3.37.140 Thanks for any insight.
  15. I just finished my build in a new iCUE 4000X case and when I open the iCUE software it doesn't detect my fans. I have also not seen the fans spin. If anyone can think of something that I have done wrong during this, or something I can take a look at that would be great thanks. I am new to the pc building game so any help would be amazing.
  16. Hello ! First timer here :D So my issue is that I swapped my Noctua air cooler for a Corsair Hydro Series - H100x (240mm) and according to specs with my case it says 240 rad can be mounted on top: https://www.corsair.com/corsairmedia/sys_master/productcontent/CARBIDE_SERIES_275R_QSG.pdf Even the site show the rad top position as available: https://cwsmgmt.corsair.com/responsive/img/275r/stand_alone_radiators-1.jpg Now when I tried to place the Rad/Double Fan combo on top, my 2 RAM sticks are in the way; and by a good margin, it's not like 3-4mm away, I cannot see the screw holes at all... My RAM : Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4 2 x 8 Go 3333 MHz CAS 16 So my question is, am I ****ed for a top mount even though the case manual says it should go in, or I could try mounting it in front tube down even though my big *** 3090 will be in the way of the tubing ? Or maybe it is the ram sticks ? Is there sticks that are less high ? Thanks a ton!
  17. Hello everyone, short summary of what happened, my PC got water damaged due to house fire. Trying to repair the poor guy. So one thing for sure was that the motherboard got fried so I replaced it with a new one, PSU works fine (tested myself, output volts are fine). I kept my old case hoping it still works, lo and behold it did not (kinda, it turned on 2 times but after that couldn't get it working again). The motherboard power indicator lights up including the GPU (So those guys are getting some power). So I still have hope!...Kinda. So I'm wondering what you guys think I should try first before going ahead and buying a new case. Here is what I did: Verified that the power sw cable and all the other ones where correctly plugged in to the motherboard. Checked all other cables connected to the case and motherboard are securely in place. Cables don't seem to be physically damaged. USB connection does seem rusted so wondering if the circuit board connecting to the power button on the front panel might rusted too? replacement needed maybe? Any opinions on what I should try are welcomed. Thanks everyone!:feedback:
  18. Hi, I recently just built a PC with the corsair 4000 D airflow. When I plug in my headset (works fine on laptop and XBOX) I can hear everything clearly, but when I try to talk to my friends on discord, all they hear is static and can't hear a single word I said. "You sound like a transformer," is what one person said. I unplugged the audio jack from the motherboard and plugged it back in. It still does not work and all cables are organized. PLEASE let me know if you have any solution. I literally went all in on the corsair products that were available when shopping for parts. I even bought the keyboard!
  19. Hello, I'm wondering about getting the new capellix water cooler for my PC. I have the SPEC Delta RGB and was wondering would a 360mm radiator fit at the front of the case while still being able to see the fans out of the front tempered glass panel? Thanks
  20. I put a new system together, and have 2 fans that came with the H100i and three fans that came with my Corsair case. I connected All of the fans to the node core that came with my H100i. In the early stages of setting up my system, I noticed the 3 fans that came with the case ran a lost faster compared to the 2 that came with the H100i. I said, oh well, I know (or think I should be able to) control these fan speeds in iCue. Once I installed Windows and everything else, in iCue, sure enough, the 2 fans that came with the H100i were running around 350-400 RPMs and the 3 fans that came with the case were all humming at 1300-1450!! The all had "Balanced" profiles - which I would think would make them run approximately at the same speed...but apparently not. I did tons of research, watched some videos, searched this forum, and tried to create a custom Profile and curves, and even tried to just pick one of those case fans and set to a specific RPM, but I cannot seem to get these fans to behave. When the system is just sitting there idle, the 2 fans that came with H100i nicely run at 300-400, but the other case fans ALWAYS are at 1300-1450 and are rather noisy and annoying. Why can't I get finite control over these fans? I figured that since I have ALL fans (which are all Corsair fans) connected to the node core, that I could do all the tweaking I want...but I can't seem to get it to work. Very frustrating. Hany help/pointers? Greatly appreciated! Here is a quick screenshot of what I see. https://imgur.com/LTA4VFS
  21. I've recently renewed my main machine with an h100i RGB liquid cooler, an MSI MPG Z390 gaming, and the Vengeance RGB PRO Problem is that in my old case, the liquid cooler doesn't fit so, I'm looking for a new case (possibly Corsair so I can use the RGB controller) that fits both the h100i and the Vengeance RGB Pro I prefer to have the radiator+fans of the liquid cooler on top but, from what I've found out, it's not an easy task to find a case that fits both of the components on top. I was looking for the iCUE 220T RGB Airflow but it seems the radiator can be fit only on the front, Am I right?
  22. My topic/issue has a few concerns and I didn't know where to exactly put it but it's mainly a case issue. I have run into a fitment issue with the GPU I wish to acquire, like most people (i assume of course) the 30-series card I would like is too big for my current case. I have a 220T airflow with a front mount AIO because of ram clearances. I have 2 possible solutions but would like outside opinions both positive and negative and lets assume money is not a major concern. Do I: 1) Get a bigger case, naturally I would like to keep it a corsair case. I'm looking at the 4000 series, Do I get the cheaper 4000D and move the lightning node core and wiring over from the 220T over or shell out a little more for the 4000X for peace of mind? 2) Just get a smaller 30-series GPU and paint the shroud and fans the color I want? Never done anything like that before, so would be asking for help from friends. Thanks for whatever suggestions come my way.
  23. I recently purchased the Corsair 465x White, and I wanted to put an H150i in it. The product page says it supports a 360mm, but I don't know in which orientation. Would I be able to put an H150i elite into the front of the case with the tubes starting at the bottom? Would the tubes still reach the cpu?
  24. Hey all, So I recently got a NZXT kraken x73 360mm AIO and I had to do some questionable things to get it mount in a "correct formation" but it makes me a bit nervous. So question is can I top mount it in the crystal 570x ( with or with some mods) or can I front mount it with tubes going down? It definitely look possible but the only worry is then that the tubes may then not be long enough to reach. Please let me know, Thanks
  25. Hi my name is zack and I am asking for your help because i am looking at doing a case swap and I wanna see what soft tubing water cooling would look like and just some general ideas right now I have a 360mm radiator and a xd5 pump please post your replies below it would mean a lot thanks
