  1. Are the cases compatible with both front panels? Or will I only be able to fit the mesh panel on the airflow version?
  2. Are there any Corsair cases that come with ML fans?
  3. Click them? If you can't right-click them and select remap, then I don't think you can.
  4. Currently..... The L4D-style Warhammer game "Vermintide 2", the absolutely epic cyberpunk game "The Ascent" and occasionally "EVE Online".
  5. It's a lot for a mousepad, but not a lot for an extended one with iCue-compatible RGBs and 2 USB passthroughs. But if the build quality is too bad, what's the use.
  6. I just read it comes with a USB-C port AND 2 passthroughs! Makes me wanna plug my keyboard and mouse into the pad! Lol.. Yeah I rather play it safe and use the PC ports.
  7. Erm... ...try clicking the window.
  8. Yes that's one function of it, but my hand hovers over the alt and tab area anyway so why would I lift my hand and reach for the wheel up top, possibly even having to press the button several times to find the alt+tab preset, then scroll when I can just do it instantly from where my hand rests anyway?
  9. I am struggling to find a good use for the control wheel on the K100. Most of its features are either media-related and based on media players I don't use, or straight up more convenient to use via regular shortcuts. Now I could be wrong, but I think one of the biggest problems is lack of market research. I don't see any polls by gaming peripheral companies asking their customers what they actually want, and I realize sometimes people don't even know what they want until they tried it, so I figured why not make a little collection of what people would like to use the control wheel for. So far, outside of proper game integration to do unique stuff with it in games, I have only come up with 2 functions I would like to use it for. 1) Adjusting OC settings so that I don't have to alt+tab out of the game and right-click MSI Afterburner, which sometimes even bugs out and hides underneath the taskbar. 2) Adjust YouTube playback quality. It's a pain to constantly readjust. It is supposed to remember your favored setting, but it's not reliable for me, at least on my Brave browser. What about you guys?
  10. Let's hope not, I just ordered one and don't want to return yet another Corsair item. One reason I am replacing my SteelSeries QcK, despite my M65 Ultra moving across it super well, is the edges have started fraying. If the MM700 has scratchy edges that would catch on my beloved factory-paracorded M65 cable, I wouldn't even know how to fix it since messing with that part might mess up the RGB strip.
  11. I get the problem of integration with software written by other people, but at least to me personally the Nexus doesn't seem useful at all. I neither stream nor own the most expensive hardware that would require temperature monitoring, so my question is, are there are additional features planned for gamers?
  12. I absolutely adore my new and lubed K100, but something I learned from trying out the Razer Huntsman V2 Analog is that RGB "undernearth" the front of a keyboard is amazing! It added the illusion of depth to my desk and I was wondering how to recreate this experience until I came across the MM700 Now my question is, could I plug the MM700 into the K100 or is it recommended to plug it directly into the PC?
  13. Thanks, I have been a huge fan of optical switches ever since Wooting One and SteelSeries Apex Pro. Seeing them in the K100 and especially my favorite mouse since the M65 Vengeance, I'm super impressed and happy with those 2 in tandem. I had to go through loops to get a factory lubed K100 for some reason and for some games I need to switch to 4khz, but together with the short linear and optical switches and stuff like the AXON SoC the experience is incredible. Not like I am not also disappointed though. I have no idea what to do with the gyroscope, literally any keyboard button is more convenient than lifting my mouse, and the Nexus didn't just arrive with a damaged display, I also couldn't do anything useful with it in games. I guess software-side support is the biggest obstacle for these tools, so I think people need to find a standardized way for it. Also, I completely missed the launch of the frictionless ML fans, but that's exactly the type of innovation I want. Away from moving parts or at least friction.
  14. Hm I finally found a little more info. On this website they explain it actually ADDS debounce time to deal with unintentional triggers from actions like slamming the mouse. https://www.techpowerup.com/review/corsair-sabre-rgb-pro-wireless/6.html
  15. I noticed even thought the M65 Ultra has optical switches, in the video they are showing the use of flat springs to trigger the light. Does that mean there is still a bounce effect? And is that why there is a "button response optimization" in the settings for this mouse?
  16. Was thinking the same thing the other day. My Razer Tartarus Pro sticks out like a sore thumb, although it's intentional because it has analog switches, so I have the Tartarus for analog or dual-function input and the dpad, the Swiftpoint Z for the insane feature set (that one actually does tilting right) and the K100 and M65 Ultra for speed. And who knows, maybe Corsair would mess up fewer things on a gaming keypad, though that branch never seems to take off, the downsides don't seem worth the slight, potential upsides, so I think Corsair would have to put a genius spin on it.
  17. Thanks but I am not willing to go through my 4th return of a Corsair item in 2 weeks. My first M65 Ultra was too wobbly which screwed with my aiming, although your support claimed it's to support the tilt motion, the switch stems of the first K100 were ridiculously loose so I lubed the second, slightly less shaky K100 myself and the Nexus came with a defect display. Plus after hearing "my mouse doesn't wobble, but it's a different model than yours" from your support as their reasoning for why they think mine shouldn't wobble either, I'm sure you can understand I have no more faith in your tech support. I'd much rather exchange experience and knowledge with whoever makes it into this forum than rely on a "tech support" who just read off a basic questionnaire for a living.
  18. According to this website, the stabs are supposed to come pre-lubed. Mine didn't, in fact mine are so loose they sound like a box of lego, and that was the case with both keyboards I tested. https://switchandclick.com/corsair-k100-review/ Also, the switches on the units of reviewers are clearly pre-lubed too, so why are mine not?
  19. Makes sense. Does Krytox 205g0 have a chance to cause any problems for OPX switches, when applied in-between the stems and the inside of the housing, without opening the switches?
  20. That being said you can buy new and/or better caps and stick them on. Just make sure the form factor matches, some KBs use non-standard shapes on some keys.
  21. That's why everyone talks so much about double-shot PBT keycaps, they don't come off like that. After 7 months I would think these might be exceptionally bad ABS caps, or you got exceptionally acidic sweat.. =p
  22. I am considering lubing my K100 with the push-stem method, so without taking anything apart at all. Considering keyboards sometimes come factory-lubed, that surely can't void the warranty, can it?
  23. I figured I might keep the feature set and push-lube the switches. I could also replace the Huntsman's caps instead, but there would still be that longer key travel and I would be replacing expensive PBT caps with additional expensive PBT caps.
  24. There is no use in waiting, it's been like that for years, it's time to complain and wake up Corsair. The only alternative in terms of specs would be the Huntsman V2 from Razer. They got glorious switches and sound, so stable, such an awesome typing experience and really quiet too. Am still testing both side by side and neither of them is perfect, as the Huntsman V2's RGB is terrible, and while I don't care about the bling side of RGB, I discovered that if you tone down the lighting in your room a lot, good RGB makes a world of difference both in visibility of your keys and the mood you can set, and trust me, the Huntsman V2 RGB is terrible. The lights barely make it through the keys and it is so spotty that it ends up looking dirty in some places. When I compare the 2 keyboards it is nicer lights and a snappier gaming experience vs nicer sounds and typing experience, so for me the K100 wins out by a sliver.
