  1. Hi! As of yesterday, XG7 RGB RX-SERIES GPU Water Block (5700 XT) has been enabled so you will be able to utilize configurator for further planning. The new GPU water block cannot be ordered at this moment, if you would like to get a notification when in stock, make sure to subscribe. Reference build guides present maximum radiator configuration with reference design graphics cards. As a build guide it's showing the most complex build for targeted case. Any other variation will be less complex / easier to build. General rule of 120mm per component is not very reliable with current set of hardware as it has a very wide range of TDP. Differences are even bigger once we start to evaluate overclocking on current HEDT CPUs. It also doesn't specify the fans speed range. 120mm radiator can cool a lot but not with bearable noise. The configurator will recommend stages while calculating power consumption of cooled components. To calculate cooling performance, radiator thickness is also considered. Vertical mount of GPU, can confirm it will work with XG7 RGB RX-SERIES GPU Water Block (5700 XT) will allow you to install the XD5 unit in the primary "hot" chamber with a XR5 360mm radiator on the front. 2. Hi! 1. There is no removable layer on the pre applied thermal pads. 2. No need to transfer or add thermal pads to the XG7 backplate. 3. Please update with pictures and we'll check. 4. Depends on the cooling system. If possible please provide a coolant temperature readout or a full description of your custom loop.
  3. Rinse with distilled and repeat as often as possible. Please do let us know how it goes with XL5 coolant.
  4. Hi! Sorry, these are not available as a spare part.
  5. Direct from NVIDIA is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER Founders Edition model. It is compatible with Hydro X Series XG7 RGB 20-SERIES GPU Water Block (2080 FE).
  6. Thank you for the pictures. We can conclude that the cooling system works (apart from the issue with Commander PRO) so we can focus on GPU water block. When you checked for the imprint of thermal compound and thermal pads. Was there a nice even layer of thermal compound on the whole GPU? According to the images, fit of the block doesn't look perfect. I would suggest to try and remove the GPU water block. You might be able to unscrew the rounded screws with sharp philips head screwdriver. Then take a few pictures of the graphics card (focus on GPU and memory ICs) and bottom side of the GPU water block and send them to our support so they can make a thorough check and advise on further actions. They will also be able to provide replacement screws. Please PM me your ticket number and I'll update the ticket with pictures you already provided.
  7. Generally, 2070 SUPER models can be a candidate for XG7 RGB 20-SERIES GPU Water Block (2080 FE). Can you confirm you have the graphics card from your PC Specs (Nvidia 2070 Super Founders Edtion)? If not, let me know the exact model so we can check.
  8. On certain locations, slight flex is OK. When in doubt, don't hesitate to take a few pictures and we'll check and advise. For such occurences, I advise to go directly to our support. Our tech support agents are aware of what's within tolerances and when additional action needs to be made.
  9. Hi! Can you please share a few pictures of your whole system and a few detailed pictures of the GPU with installed XG7 water block so we can check. How is the flow status, can you confirm that the flow indicator in the XG7 water block is spinning?
  10. Yes, AMD Radeon 5700 XT Anniversary Edition is also supported by the same XG7 GPU Water Block.
  11. That is a severe flex. I would suggest to create a new support ticket so our agents can take a detailed look and advise on further actions. Please include your graphics card model number and model of Hydro X GPU water block.
  12. I would suggest to inspect if there is any particle in the valve that could prevent it to fully close. Make sure to take a few picture and reach to our support.corsair.com for further assistance.
  13. Can you share a bit more information on how and where your XD5 unit is mounted? I would suggest to make a video of the unit while adjusting the RPM in the whole range of the unit. Then please create a new ticket and our staff will check.
  14. I would recommend to mimic the list provided by Hydro X Configurator. 1x Commander PRO 1x RGB Fan LED Hub 1x Hydro Series Fan Y-Header Cable (PWM Y splitter) 5x LL120 Single Pack Together with XC7 and XD5 you will be able to fully utilize Hydro X and iCUE integration. Y-Header Cable is needed to plug two LL120 fans to one fan port on the Commander PRO. Optional list (you'll have a Lighting Node PRO which you don't need in your case) 1x Commander PRO 1x Hydro Series Fan Y-Header Cable 1x LL120 3 Fan Pack with Lighting Node PRO 2x LL120 Single Pack
  15. Yes, it's normal that a bit of the green o-ring is visible. Hand tightened and no leaks, all good.
  16. Apologies for late reply. I would not recommend to go with direct die mounting method. There is a very high chance that the water block will sit on one of components around CPU socket making a bad or no contact and potentially ruin your CPU.
  17. As of now, checked were many RTX SUPER variants. There are plenty compatible with our existing GPU water blocks. Please try the compatibility search option on XG7 GPU water blocks product page to search for specific models. Sorry, there are no plans to support Gigabyte custom PCB models. Yes, EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 XC Ultra Gaming uses a PCB layout compatible with FE layout. XG7 RGB 20-SERIES GPU Water Block (2080 FE) will fit. XG7 RGB 20-SERIES GPU Water Block (2080 Ti Strix) is available in our webstore.
  18. Product page for Hydro X Series XG7 RGB RX-SERIES GPU Water Block (5700 XT) is up. No ETA for now, sorry.
  19. Hi! The SAPPHIRE PULSE Radeon RX Vega 56 is using a short custom PCBA layout. Unfortunately, it's not possible to mount the XG7 RGB RX-SERIES GPU Water Block (VEGA 64).
  20. Sorry, we do not have a compatible Hydro X GPU block for the MSI RTX 2070 Gaming Z nor plans to make one.
  21. Hi, Recommendation for such fan configuration is based on results of thorough internal testing. When all of the major components are water cooled (CPU + GPUs), full negative pressure setup provides the most efficient cooling performance and lower internal case temperatures. This creates a healthier environment for VRMs, memory, PSU (if it's in the same chamber), hard drives etc. Overall, such configuration creates conditions for a quieter / better performing system.
  22. 1 XD5 unit will be more than sufficient for your system. From our Custom Cooling FAQ Q: How many water blocks and radiators can one Pump/Reservoir Combo support? A: This unit delivers a head pressure of 3.9 meters, powerful enough to provide adequate flow through a custom cooling loop of at least four water blocks and three radiators.
