TX650 V2 is much louder than I would have thought

Same problem here, I replaced all my computer fans for nidec and changed my psu for Corsair TX650V2, and i was really impressed with its loud noise.

 

The shop where I bought it changed me for another tx650v2 with exactly the same problem, about 40db at idle (using a paper clip to test it).

 

It's anoying, same psu with same problem, and people here are all having exactly the same problems as me.

 

It's a pity but my next psu will be from another brand.

It should not be that loud once the system is up and running, you can use the link on the left and request an RMA and contact our customer service after you have the RMA conformation and explain the situation to them and see they can help since you just got the PSU and replaced it with the reseller and still have the same issue.
