Problem with microphone in front jack in iCUE 4000X RGB case

I'm having trouble with mi microphone in my new build. When using the front jack for my headphones (they have audio/mic combined), I can hear the audio just fine but the microphone just buzzes and I can't be heard. The noise is very annoying and makes my headphones unusable for videocalls. My drivers are updated and I checked with an external audio card and they work fine.

EDIT: I disconnected the AUDIO cable from the front panel from the motherboard and plugged it in again and now it doesn't even recognize the headphones. It's like the port died. I was using an anti-static wristband and just unplugged and plugged the cable.
