W.Brown72
I just purchased a 4000D airflow case. As I was installing the motherboard and the rest of the hardware. I came across a cable that is part of the case. But does not plug into anything on the ATX motherboard. What the heck is this cable? Where do I find an adapter to use it? Sharkyy
That looks like the USB 3 type E cable used for your front-panel USB C port(s). Every motherboard I've used has had a port for this near the 24-pin ATX power input. Edited September 16, 2023 by Sharkyy
LeDoyen
... but many motherboards still don't have it so it's possible you do not have that USB header. What brand/model of motherboard do you have?
W.Brown72
I found out what it is. It is a ARGB controller plugin.
LeDoyen
What is ? the cable in the photo is the front panel USB, not an ARGB controller plug. If i remember correctly only the 4000X has an argb controller?
