Alaskanbullworm
I have a carbide 400c case and I was looking to get a new Psu but it seems mostly all of the high end Corsair Psu's have the fan facing up. M case doesn't have a place for airflow. Could someone help me out i'm looking for a psu around 800w. Thanks in advance.
Hockster2
The power supply can be installed with the fan facing in either direction. [ame] [/ame]
Corsair Employee Corsair Mint Posted December 3, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted December 3, 2018 Yup, we like to have the fan mounted down if you have ventilation at the bottom of the case so it can breathe fresh air from outside. If you don't have ventilation at the bottom, then definitely flip it so the fan is oriented up.
Vegan
I have a carbide 300R which is also bottom mounted, makes for a cooler operating setup I use a 850W PSU to support dual cards, and if I ever get a new one I will get a 1000+W model
