QL 120 fans burned leds again
Corsair Mint replied to homie_'s topic in Build Hardware Troubleshooting
Hey there homie_, real sorry to see that your 2nd set of QL fans had issues with the LEDs after a couple on months. We would like to look into this with you so that we can help you directly. I've created a Support ticket for you and our Support team will be working with you to get this resolved. -
You would just want to fill them in order, ie, 1, 2, 3... and so on, don't skip one. Thanks for the ballpark! Interesting that it looks like it "settles" after you've warmed up the system. Please let us know if there's sudden change!

Hey there, SpabalinasDesign! That's really good to hear! Do you recall how long ago your USB drivers were last updated? I know, that's a rough question to ballpark, but perhaps other users may benefit from just a simple USB driver update as well. Please let us know if any other issues arise!

Hey Mike96, really happy to hear that your RMA unit was able to run without issue. If any issues do arise, please don't hesitate to let us know!

iCUE operation for newcomer
Corsair Mint replied to freelosophy's topic in iCUE Software Troubleshooting
Hey there! If you hop into device settings, the brightness level can be adjusted there: You can also tweak the intensity of the color if you wanted to play around with brightness overall. The difference with hardware and software mode is because we offer on-board profiles to be stored in the keyboards memory. This way you can take the keyboard to another computer without iCUE and still have some of your lighting effects. If you're mainly using it on just one computer, you can simply use the Lighting Effects options and these would apply once iCUE is running and detects the keyboard. -
The firmware has been pushed to live and now can be updated via the iCUE app. You can follow the steps in the guide linked below to update your device: https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025278572-Update-device-firmware-with-iCUE#h_01FPKDPCG76KNFHCRETRWE4BR7

Hey Jyster, Thanks for the PM! Yes, iCUE can show more temps from other sensors on your GPU. It can depend on what the sensors report to iCUE, so some sensors may not be shown even while others appear. Apologies that it wasn't mentioned and if it was jarring, not every GPU has multiple or extra sensors that would show up in iCUE.

Thanks, everyone, for the responses! We're asking how far away your system is from where you sit (and even the height, angle, whichever you can provide us) because it really gives us a clearer picture of your setup and how the sounds are propagating from the pump and your system. We've seen that the noise level and sound of our systems can vary from being right next to us on a desk, off to the side, on the floor at our feet, and elsewhere. So, the more information can collect, the better it helps us understand.
-
Hey there, Jyster, could you PM me a screenshot of what you're seeing? And do recall what you saw before?
-
Glad to hear! Usually, updating from within should cause any issues, but Windows 11 is so new so I just wanted to be sure. Also, if you ever have to do a clean reinstall of iCUE in the future, don't forget to export your profiles! It definitely helps save some time so you can get things back up after the reinstall.

Hey there, DeathsSatellite, sorry to hear the fans aren't being controlled properly. Can you try a uninstall and then a reinstall of iCUE? I've had this happen to me a long time ago in the past, a clean reinstall of iCUE certainly helped me out. Hi skrybe, sorry about those super high numbers, those shouldn't be the actual temp and fan speed! Could you PM me a screenshot of your iCUE and what version your running? Thanks, we definitely want to look into this and get it fixed. Hey flolen82, could you try a clean reinstall of iCUE? Windows 11 is definitely a major point of concern for us since it's so new, so we would like to look into this further with you. If you haven't yet, could you make a support ticket so we can collected more information with you. Hi aliex, could you try doing a re-pairing of the HS80 and the Dark Core Pro SE to the wireless receiver? Just so we can see that a newly established pairing doesn't cause issues.
-
Glad to hear they got to you and you can finally continue with your build! PS: can you show us pics? we're always happy to see users get their systems up and running. Sorry, Fendalton, we're always trying to expand availability. Where are you located?
