Barbiger
I'm not 100% sure this is a keyboard issue, but I think it might be. Sometimes my PC will not boot. I have not found a way to get the problem to consistently appear, but here's what happens: I press the on/off button, and nothing happens, except that the lights on my K70 LUX RGB do turn on. I don't know if the keys are responsive since the PC itself doesn't appear to be active at all (I can't hear the fans and no signal gets sent to the monitor). At this point, pressing the on/off button (or even keeping it pressed for several seconds) doesn't appear to do anything, and the only solution I've been able to find is to pull the plug, waiting for the keyboard lights to turn off, and then turning on the PC. This has always worked, but on one occasion I had the same issue the second time, so I tried pulling the plug again, and this time it worked. I've got: Core i5-6500 GeForce GTX 1060 MSI B150 And also, y'know, the rest of a computer, but I can't imagine those parts being relevant. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to get my computer to boot consistently?
Corsair Employees Corsair Hotpot Posted August 20, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 20, 2018 This sounds more like a PSU issue than your keyboard. If you remove your keyboard do you still have the issue with the initial press of the power button and the system not turning on still?
