Fround
Ive been wondering for a while why my keyboard has 2 usb's, reason is because one is recognized by windows while the other one isnt. but when i unplug the second one, the keyboard still works with led's and typing (its in a USB 3.0) So, is the second usb needed or can i just keep it unplugged since windows keeps telling me that it cant recognize it (with an annoying sound) every 2-4 min or so. "Windows 10 x64 and K95 RGB" *edit* i dont have my manual anymore, its been almost 2 years since i bought it and i dont want to spend 20min looking for it if i can just get an answer here instead. (im really lazy i know)
Inheritance
The 2nd USB with the 2 Arrows on it is for additional power if the single USB port cant provides enough power for some reason.
Corsair Employee Corsair Hotpot Posted May 31, 2018 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 31, 2018 The second USB with the arrows is to provide additional power when using USB 2.0 ports. If you are using a USB 3.0 the main cable will have enough power.
