gymness
I have tried and search a forum topic about this but I can't find it specifically. All my media keys are working except the mute button. When I press the the mute key I see the volume in my desktop or at the upper left notification gets X but still the sounds continue to play. I tried it to spotify, windows media player, pot player(video player) it does not mute at all... I cant find the fix for this.
cplifj
i would check in your OS for default audio output device, it might not be configured correctly. Seems when you press mute it mutes but not the correct device.
gymness
If I check my my volume mixer and check the speaker that is being use you could see the sounds are playing with the bar moving up and down. When I press mute it displays the speaker with X in it but the bar is still moving up and down.
Toasted
That would be normal. The mute button will only mute the default audio device. it will not mute all the volume sliders for every application.

Toasted
I don't recall an option for it in CUE, but it may be possible with third party applications e.g. AutoHotKey.

Comet 1626864951
The mute media event is sent by the keyboard, so if the application/system is not handling it properly you may want to investigate there. A quick search of the web shows that there are various discussions concerning Spotify, for example.
