nginx
My headset randomly stopped turning on, and will not charge at all. I saw some other people had the same issue of it being in bootloader mode, if anyone knows how to fix this it would be great, thanks.

Toasted
PM Corsair Chris (http://forum.corsair.com/v3/member.php?u=128058) The headset is probably most likely in bootloader mode. Chris will provide you with the necessary files to restore the headset. You can confirm if the headset is in bootloader mode by checking if Avnera AV6302 is seen in Devices and Printers. I've done this, hoping to hear back today. I've also posted a review on Amazon related to the experience so far, intending to update further after this support process is resolved. nginx
Update: My headset started working after 1 day went by and the battery died. Plugged in into the charger and it worked again. If you do not want to wait for it to die contact Chris from Corsair and he will send you the files required to fix it. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/member.php?u=128058
colan325
Why do we have to contact and wait to get the files? They dont have a link on their website to get?
Corsair Chris
Why do we have to contact and wait to get the files? They dont have a link on their website to get? Because this was a temporary solution until software v1.11x is available (end of week) which will allow users to recover their headset from bootloader mode. Toasted
Plug the headset in via the USB cable. What happens? Does windows detect it as a VOID Wireless Gaming Headset or a Avnera device? If its seen as a Avnera device, follow the steps here; http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=152196
alanm474
Hi, I bought headphones Corsair VOID in May 2016, and have now stopped funcionar. No light, and bring it to load and no load and no load turns on the light. Toasted
Is the headset detected as an Avnera device when you plug it in via USB? Have you tried putting the headset into bootloader mode as well?
Dr. Spiggle
Hi, I'm having the same issue as above. My headphones are being detected as an Avnera device. I've tried following the steps mentioned in here (http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=152196) but there is no firmware update button as I cannot click on the Device tab. I'm running CUE 2.16.87 Please help, thanks
Toasted
The Force Update option can be accessed in CUE 2 under Global Settings > Download Icon > Update.
Dr. Spiggle
The Force Update option can be accessed in CUE 2 under Global Settings > Download Icon > Update. Hi Toasted, I do not get the Download Icon. Please disconnect your Corsair equipment to see if it appears. Thanks
Toasted
Strange, the device should still popup in CUE even if it is in bootloader mode. If you have not done so already, put in a support ticket with Corsair. https://support.corsair.com/
aroen14
One of the prongs inside the headset broke off inside the charge cable and now the headset will not charge, do i have to buy an entire new headset?
Corsair Employee Corsair Nick Posted September 28, 2017 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 28, 2017 I would recommend submitting a ticket through our support portal, and one of our Technical Support staff can help you out with an RMA. https://support.corsair.com/
Hoffax
I was playing a game when my headset started beeping that the battery was low, so i plugged in the charger, and then the headset started beeping rapidly at an even pace and wouldnt stop beeping for over a solid minute, so i unplugged the charging cable and the beeping stopped. So i tried plugging in the cable once again and the same thing happened, only this time the headset just stopped working and was no longer connected to the dongler or emitting any lights. I tried plugging the headset into another wallsocket, but no light was emitting whatsoever, And also the left earphone was super hot and smelled burnt. I updated the dongler firmware and tried pairing it, but the headset remains dead and not light is working. when i plug the headset into the computer via a micro usb to USB cable, it showed up as a "Avnera" device. What do i do?
Corsair Employee Corsair Nick Posted October 3, 2017 Corsair Employee Share Posted October 3, 2017 Try performing the steps Toasted outlined above in his post. If you have already tried recovering the headset via bootloader mode and it still has not helped, put in a support ticket with Corsair. Otherwise, if you pressed a button while plugging the headset in, It will put it into bootloader mode. https://support.corsair.com/ More info. on bootloader recovery. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=152196

DaBerry573
My headset randomly turned off earlier and I couldn't get it to come back on. I had the "Avnera AV6302" connect, did some research, and found out my headset somehow got put into bootloader mode. Not sure how it happened, because it wasn't plugged in and I had them on listening to something. I tried the steps posted to fix it; made sure iCUE was updated, forced update, plugged headset in, but then when I get to where I need to pair the dongle and headset, I can't get the headset to light up at all. I tried holding the mute mic button and plugging it in, as well as some other suggestions, and no luck. As of now I have it unplugged, and I'm hoping that once the charge runs out I can resurrect it. Kinda crazy this has been an issue for three years, you'd think a company as big as corsair would be able to hop on something like this. If I still can't use it by the end of the weekend, another company bites the dust for me.
