savagepagan
So... Posts from Corsair reps have been conspicuoulsy absent for a while now. Are we still expecting a fix? I am having my doubts now as well. Not even a post to give us a estimate of when the fixed coolers will be ready to go on sale.
Invader1964
So which fan can I buy to replace the really loud and annoying one in the hg10 n970? Strapped a SP120 fan to the HG10 N970 last night Furmark burn in test 52 C fan was at 60% hardly any noise, will be installing the Noctua fan tonight :-)
lambert_999
they have a video on their youtube channel dated 4 weeks ago on how to install the n980 wondering if its the updated version?

Corsair Employee Greybeard Posted January 23, 2016 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 23, 2016 I am having my doubts now as well. Not even a post to give us a estimate of when the fixed coolers will be ready to go on sale. Sorry for the lack of update guys, we didn't mean to leave you guys in the dark. I just had a conversation with our cooler PM and according to him, the re-worked units are going to be available in 2 weeks - all regions. The new units will simply come with the updated standoffs, the hardware itself will remain the same. For those who have the bracket already and needs to get just the standoffs, a separate kit will be available around the same time frame with the updated HG10 brackets (2 weeks). In fact, you can already put in an RMA request so we can send it to you once it becomes available.

PrincessASG
Hi there! I know I'm a little late to the party, but I was wondering if these were still available? I have searched high and low and they seem to have disappeared off the face of the earth! I desperately need to get my hands on two of these for an upcoming build, from what I can find there is no issue with them fitting the ASUS Strix 980 Ti is there? I hope someone can get back to me on this and point me in the right direction!!! I live in Australia if that helps but I'm fine to pay shipping from anywhere.... nadal.komt
One question to Corsair: whats is the difference between CB-9060008-WW (Corsair Hydro Cooling HG10 N980) and CB-9060006-WW(Corsair Hydro Series HG10 N980 GTX 980 / GTX Titan X)? They're off the shelves until the fix is implemented in 2 weeks. You don't want one until then. Also, I'm pretty sure the strix 980ti uses a custom pcb, which means it likely won't work. Corsair Employee Greybeard Posted January 26, 2016 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 26, 2016 One question to Corsair: whats is the difference between CB-9060008-WW (Corsair Hydro Cooling HG10 N980) and CB-9060006-WW(Corsair Hydro Series HG10 N980 GTX 980 / GTX Titan X)? Those two SKUs are technically the same, CB-9060008-WW is the new SKUs with the fixed standoffs and CB-9060006-WW is the old. The old SKU is already EOL, so none of the stores should carry them anymore.

No Hands 55
Can anyone tell me if the N980 will fit the 970 with the Titan Cooler? Based on the power plugs and info I received from Nvidia it should be the same pcb as the 980. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/nvidia-geforce-gtx-970-4gb-gddr5-pci-express-3-0-graphics-card-silver-black/9855169.p?id=1219441201895 Also, is there a better 120mm cooler than the h75 that is 38mm or thinner? Building in a Ncase M1 and am wanting a 120mm aio for cpu and 120mm for gpu. EDIT: I am also debating selling my 970 and getting a new 1000 series gpu when they release, but there probably wouldnt be a liquid cooling adapter for a while right? Thoughts? Again these are cards not ASUS or MSI reference, straight from nvidia. http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-970/specifications http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-980/specifications Anyone from corsair able to help me out?
