HexesGaming
Hello everyone. I just built my first gaming PC last week. I bought one case because it was a cheaper option, and within 3 days of owning it i had issues with the case, and decided to get the Corsair 540. Love the case, it took less than an hour to get all the parts moved out of the old case and into this case. Love the ability to hide the wires in the back compartment. Anyways, for those that don't want to look at the dropdown menu here are the specs: I7-4790K Hyper 212 evo MSI GTX780 TF OC MSI Z97-G45 Fury 2x4GB DDR3 1600MHz Kingston 120GB SSD Seagate 1tb 7200rpm eVGA 750W Corsair 540 3x AF140L 3x AF120 Red LED Bitfenix Alchemy multisleeve cable extensions And here are a couple pictures. HOODedAssault
How did u fit 3 140mm in front ?
Q-PaTrIcK
I took two aluminium stripes and drilled the holes for the fans. The top two screws und the lowest two screws connect the fans and the stripes directly. The eight middle screws are screwed through the case (new wholes have to be drilled) so the stripes are fixed to the case and the fans are fixed to the stripes. Further i had to cut the mounting points for the 120mm fans and cut out a little bit of the case at the bottom.

MadatMe2
It's the first time I've attempted to get a reasonably neat build with lighting and coloured cabling etc. The pics aren't fantastic from my phone but they'll do for now. The GPU LED backplates were made for me from this guy. Originally found the backplate on eBay then got this link to his artisan store http://www.overclock.net/t/1501480/gpu-cool-the-artisan-store-new-uni-mount-coming-soon http://i417.photobucket.com/albums/pp252/MadatMe2/My%20PC/Corsair%20Forums%20Pics/178291fd-4089-4ea0-aa7f-46fe793c2877_zps3b872c58.jpghttp://i417.photobucket.com/albums/pp252/MadatMe2/My%20PC/Corsair%20Forums%20Pics/IMG_20140902_225234_zps4bdd90ac.jpg http://i417.photobucket.com/albums/pp252/MadatMe2/My%20PC/Corsair%20Forums%20Pics/IMG_20140902_225151_zpsd77cee33.jpghttp://i417.photobucket.com/albums/pp252/MadatMe2/My%20PC/Corsair%20Forums%20Pics/IMG_20140806_195719_zpsa2c9c271.jpg And a little closer look at the bottom plate that I created. Need to get an led strip to light up the logo from above or work out a way to light it up from underneath so that it glows. http://i417.photobucket.com/albums/pp252/MadatMe2/My%20PC/Corsair%20Forums%20Pics/11269e9c-29c4-473b-b18a-8862550d2516_zpsca6281b1.jpg Build: Corsair AIR 540 Black Corsair AX1200i Corsair H100i AMD FX8350 4GHZ 8 core Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 AMD Radeon Gamer Series 16GB 2400MHz Gigabyte AMD HD7970 Windforce 3GB Gigabyte AMD R9 280X OC Windforce 3GB 2 x GPU-COOL LED backplate Samsung SSD 840 series 500GB Hitatchi 2.5" SATA2 160GB NZXT Hue NZXT Sentry Mix 2 fan controller 5 x Enermax Cluster Advance 120mm White LED fan 1 x Enermax Cluster 140mm White LED fan 3 x Fractal Design 50mm fan Samsung External Blu-Ray writer 2 x Samsung SyncMaster 2492HS monitor Razer Lycosa keyboard Razer Lachesis mouse Roccat Kave 5.1 headset Microsoft XBOX360 gamepad Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel and pedals Edited September 6, 2014 by MadatMe2

itchix
I added a Hyper 212 evo with a spare SP120 I had laying around and some sleeved cables (that I need to manage better but still). The more I work inside of this case the more and more I love how much space it has. Added backplate to my graphics card. thebear
Hi. New user here. I'm a 540 owner since october, and I really like it. I removed the front 3.5" hd bays, but needed to place them on the back. I found this solution, which also lets me install 2 fan controllers in the front. Just remove the plastic lockers on the hd bay and do some holes for screws: http://i.imgur.com/9cetRMc.jpg http://i.imgur.com/3nLg0XI.jpg http://i.imgur.com/swWbVhn.jpg http://i.imgur.com/SujtPKe.jpg
Sli-Fi
TheBear, have you had a chance to monitor HDD temps in your configuration? Just curious how they are doing. Slick and clean idea, though.
