Little messy in the back but I know where everything is. Specs are in the drop down. Also fans on the nh-d14 have been changed to corsair h100 fans. Little update for mine with h100 fans and new ram. Sorry corsair guys I could not find vengeance pro reds anywhere near me. Tiger direct Canadacomputers and a few other stores only stocked the silvers. I'm disappointed and had to get some red Patriot viper 3. Also added a 512gb ssd for games, hidden in the back tho. Corsair should make the vengeance pros come with all colors just like there fans. It's just a separate piece anyways... http://i61.tinypic.com/ftzzfn.jpg Edited February 16, 2014 by HOODedAssault

wytnyt
LOL not even started yet lol. I want another one so I can spend time doing want I want with the modding no im started but i have 3 other builds so i can take my time with this but having a evga 780 and a 4930k processor sure makes the waiting hard...;): whats taking time is moving the psu outward 1/4 inch, cutting the 2 bay 5.25 drive cage down to 1 1/4 bays and modding the top and front of the case. theres 10 different pieces of sheet metal being used in this build and doing all the cutting and bending by hand. time and energy is very slim so its been small steps so far. Jimbo64
I have a couple pre-finished pics I haven't received all the parts I need just yet.... I love this build. I thought I was the only one who mounted their H100i radiator vertically!
Kovoet
I love this build. I thought I was the only one who mounted their H100i radiator vertically! Yeah being seeing that a lot but my 7970 matrix would not allow me to do that. One thing I am finding is that a lot of people are putting 3 x 120mm in front. My acrylic, carbon and some of the nuts and bolts have arrived http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/824/0wjn.jpg Edited February 7, 2014 by Kovoet
HOODedAssault
Been thinking about filling mine with 120mm cougars to match my gpu. Currently using spectre pros as they move more air than the stock fans and do it at about half the volume. Plus I think they look better aesthetically. Kovoet
Right I have now closed the bottom of the case now and why the bottom of the Corsair Carbide 540 comes with a opened bottom I do not know. Changed to a lot of red in the case. My AX850 now has red wiring, the SP120mm fans now have the red clip ons http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/706/1ctg.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/513/a4sx.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/822/sxca.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/839/5zsl.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/33/k7vr.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/534/bc87.jpg

I had that board with 3930K and vrm overheating causes a lot of cpu throttling while stress testing. http://www.frozencpu.com/products/14589/ex-blc-1021/Heatkiller_MB-SET_ASUS_P9X79_-_Full_Coverage_Water_Block_Kit_-_Nickel_Top_11432.html

Yellowbeard
The metallic paint on the fan trim rings is definitely a nice touch. Goes well with the wiring color combo. Nicely done.
