MensaMan
Okay, here's my problem. I bought an H80 and installed it per the instructions(??) that came with it. It worked just fine for the first few hours and kept my CPU cool as it should. I went out of town and turned off the computer while I was gone. When I returned and turned the computer on, I got a CPU Fan Error and directions to go to the BIOS. The computer would not boot. A redlight on the MOBO is on, indicating that I can't boot without a CPU Cooler. Also when I opened the case and the lights around the Profile Button on the H80 were off. When I power up the computer the H80 fans on the radiator run for a few seconds, then stop, so I would say the unit is getting power, but nothing else. Has anyone else had this issue? Are there settings in my BIOS that I need to change to support this Cooler? I have an Asus Crosshair V Formula MOBO with an AMD FX8150 CPU and a Corsair HX850 PSU. Any help would be appreciated. Toasted
Check the pin connections If the L.E.Ds do not turn on, contact your seller and ask if they can replace the H80 for you. If not request an RMA.
