asim1999
Hey there, I was wondering what the difference was between the CH-9000221 and CH-9000062 K95 keyboards. Is there any difference besides the logo? Also are the LED's brighter on the newer model? Finally, is it worth getting a Manufacurer refurbished K95 as it is only £109 I talked to a Scan representative who sells them and says they are the same refurbished ones that Corsair sell on their website Have you had any experiences with Corsair refurbished products before? Thank you For reference here are the links to the two keyboards I mentioned https://www.scan.co.uk/products/corsair-gaming-cg-k95-rgb-back-lit-keys-cherry-mx-brown-mechanical-wired-usb-20-anti-ghosting-all-ma https://www.scan.co.uk/products/corsair-gaming-k95-rgb-rgb-back-lit-keys-cherry-mx-brown-mechanical-usb-20-anti-ghosting-all-plus18-
Derren001
Tramp stamp logo vs sails logo is the only difference.
Toasted
The refurbished model will only have a year of warranty rather than 2. http://www.corsair.com/support/warranty
snapper69
Seems a bit odd, you'd think that if they refurbished them, they would be as confident about them as they are about the new one, or not. Oh well. Presumably the sails one is newer? If so which is the part number for the newer one?
Toasted
Take a look at part 4 in the FAQ below; http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?p=880536#post880536 Before the policy was updated, The warranty for refurbished items was 30 days if i recall correctly, So one year is reasonable considering its also priced lower than a usual brand new unit. You could say the keyboard with the new logo is "newer" (as in manufactured date) than the ones with the old logo but apart from the logo, nothing else was changed. snapper69
I have been looking at these for a few days, in the end, I decided not to get one, purely because the rest of my system is blue lights, including my Gigabyte mechanical keyboard, so I thought, what's the point of spending £109 on an RGB keyboard, when I will just set it to blue.
