brebond
Hi everyone, I ordered a double pack of Corsair RAM (Corsair MacMemory CMSA16GX3M2A1600C11 Kit 16 GB/ (2x8 GB), DDR3L, 1600 MHz, Apple Certified, SODIMM) from Amazon lately. Today I received the product. And I am not sure whether I have got what I wanted. The front of the package is labelled DDR3L but on both RAMs themselves are labelled DDR3 ! I have also attached pictures. Are they actually DDR3? Has anyone come across this and can you give me some light? If they are DDR3, I am going to contact Amazon to return them as I wanted DDR3L. Thank you in advance. Bon
Corsair Employee Corsair Rick Posted January 30, 2019 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 30, 2019 Hello brebond, CMSA16GX3M2A1600C11 is definitely DDR3L. The tested voltage for the kit is 1.35v meaning that it is DDR3L. https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Memory/Laptop-and-Notebook-Memory/Corsair-Mac-Memory-%E2%80%94-16GB-Dual-Channel-DDR3L-SODIMM-Memory-Kit/p/CMSA16GX3M2A1600C11
