Thanks for the response. Yes, I was referring to the LCD screen issues in both of my posts. My apologies for any confusions as I wasn't allowed to reedit my post after some time. If the New LCD design is the same as the previous one, unfortunately I'm going to hold off but I do like Corsair's ecosystem and have been around a long time and still currently use some their products. I just worry about purchasing a product that could send me back to the days I felt I was a paying beta tester from the original Corsair Link and many of their different designs thereafter that wouldn't stick. Either way, I'll keep a watchful eye out and see maybe a year from now how it has performed and read a bunch of reviews. Thanks

I was under the impression that there was a connection issue and folks claimed to be losing connections with their coolers. So the 'red triangle' is gone and was a software issue all along? Some folks claimed to have done the update with the issues to eventually arise again not long after. Also, someone performed a small mod by removing some plastic piece off the housing for better sitting with the connectors and claim that fixed their issues. Can you please elaborate what the updated cap design is and what was the reason for it? Thanks

Does the ELITE LCD XT fix the screen issues from the original?

Same here. Have had system lock ups and the profile would go from my custom to rainbow is the sign I knew the system was unstable and stutters. Can't even restart through windows and was forced to do a hard reset. System mainly locks up during idle. Never seen it lock up while on full load but nonetheless, this is ridiculous. Especially when my next system build I was planning on going with a full Corsair iCue ecosystem since I'm already using most to begin with but that idea will hold out till Corsair fixes this issue. Since writing this post, all I did was disabled the iCue/Link4 from my taskbar and haven't had a single lock up since. I average 2-3 lock ups a day since last year. My system is 8 years old (X99) and never had these kind of issues prior. I wish I remembered the version of iCue I last had that was stable.

Do we know if the PSU shroud is removable?

Flush the rads in a clear or white bowl and see what comes out. It took me 10-12 flushes on each of my big rads to get them cleared out from manufacturing debris. Well worth and highly advised. I also check my blocks and pumps but they are usually clean.

Sounds like something is going on with the pump. I would get a hold of Corsair support for a RMA on that pump.

No such thing as non-conductive since once the liquid will eventually acumulate some type of particles through the loop or once it leaks, it could come into contact with external particles making it conductive. The best way to remedy fears of leaks is to run a 24 hr leak test with only the pump(s) being powered and nothing else. Have towels and the likes around areas where a leak could start if there ever is one. Places like fittings/threaded ports are usually the places of focus.

I forgot to ask, are we able to change the silver trim on the XC9 (2066) to black? I also realized, both the XC9 and XC7 have a difference of 10 micro cooling fins 70 vs 60. Mind you, I'm looking to replace my current Swiftech block (2011) with a Corsair CPU WB on a 5930K - 2011v3 socket, in the next coming days.

A block that is usually compatible with the FE (reference design), should be compatible with most 3rd party AIBs reference designs as well unless things were changed on the WB to only fit particular AIB's custom designed FTW3s, Kingpins, HoFs, etc.

I was kinda disappointed to see Acetal not being used for the threaded ports. I've used acrylic before and it can get easily stressed. They also should have added this kind of info in their manual if people want to change it's flow configuration without impeding performance. It would also be a great selling point compared to other mfgers, even if you could do the same, I think advertising it as a extra or added feature can grab some positive reactions because for me, that might be the decision maker over other blocks, the one that looks good and has versatility. If you don't mind me asking since I'm really curious since the whole product line is very new, did you also purchase and do the same?

You're saying, flip the CPU WB upside down, unscrew the top trim and flip it and now I'll have the left to right flow design without impeding performance?

Thank you for this as that pretty much answers everything. I'm kinda bummed the inlet is not on the left side of the block because most builds use a cylinder res/pump combo and most of the time for a tight/short clean running loop, you'll have the bottom 'OUT' of the pump enter the bottom section of the case whether it be a front or bottom rad than or to the GPU, than to the CPU, than to the top/front rad or just back to the top of the 'IN' of the cylinder reservoir creating a simple clockwise flow. This design will force some to crisscross their tubings or for those that have bay res/pump combos would be of convinience if you were to go counterclockwise in the loop. Regardless, I'm still thinking about getting one once I drain again for a CPU/MB/RAM upgrade in the coming months or year but that depends if I want a upside down block. Bummer since I'd like to slowly start implementing a little Corsair back to the rig other than the AX1200i. Thanks again for the response. Yep. Got all that, thanks.

Check again as there is two 2066 blocks advertised as one is grey and the other black. They don't specify which side is IN or OUT and doesn't say if it can be changed since some people's loops don't enter the right side of the block but some are coming from the bottom or left side which would force some to crisscross their lines.

Which are the INs and OUTs on the CPU WB or does it not matter and can it be changed if it does matter if we aren't happy with the direction chosen by default? Also, are the XC9 2066 and XC7 2066 the same just different colored skins? (I prefer black for my build.)

That's nothing. I've been around since it's inception. It was a nightmare for 4+ years and now they finally have at least a somewhat decent software. You could read more of it here if you're bored. The worst is having some of their older Links and not having support with iCue forcing you to throw out your money you already spend ($140+), with non-working software as advertised then to now forcing you spend for a whole new setup.

Can Corsair let us know if they will make a DOMINATOR PLATINUM RGB version or are these only available for the Vengeance RGB Pro?

Well?......... It's been almost a year since this post/issue was pointed out and have been quietly waiting here after several updates but no fix for this. Many folks are using more than one screen these days and should have prioritized a simple fix for this. Common Corsair! I can't even utilize your software. Disappointing..

I just upgraded in hopes this was fixed. Now I can't remember where Cue Space is. LOL Also, do I still need Corsair Link installed if I'm using iCue?

Was this addressed at all with the new 3.7?

Bummer......I could truly use this fix right now especially since I've changed around my surround setup a bit and would love to have iCue Space in it's place.

Any news on this and was this fixed with the new version out now?
