  2. Hey there everyone! DevBiker from deep in the heart of Texas and I'm just starting down the path of rebuilding my rig into a Corsair 7000 series case. I've gotten my hands on the iCUE 7000X RGB in white as well as the front and top panels for the 7000D Airflow editions (also in white, though black may have been an interesting contrast). I do plan on playing around with it a bit ... to rearrange things a bit and rebuilt it several times, looking at different options. Over the next month or so - before I do the actual build - I'll be playing around with the case and measuring things and seeing how different things may or may not fit. I'm not going to go over all the marketing fluff - except for a single Obligatory Marketing Image - because y'all can read all of that stuff on all the various reviews that are out there. So with that ... this should also be a discussion. What ideas do y'all have for the 7000? I've already talked with one other forum member that was looking to put a monitor screen on the PSU window and I got some measurements for that. You'll that info in the FAQ as well (under PSU installation) I'm using the new Album feature for the FAQ; comments are enabled for each photo so you can ask questions there or here. It's best to view the Album by Caption. I like the List View, personally. I've even got 4 LL140 RGB fans in there from way back just after the LLs actually launched ... and they are still going. Those things have seen some use. On of them even has an RGB cable that I had to cut and re-crimp because I snipped the wire. I've got Commander Pros, Lighting Node Pros and Fan Hubs that are around 4 years old or so ... still going. Of course there's gonna be a ton of Corsair in here because that's just how I roll. None of y'all are going to be surprised by that in the least.
  3. I am running the following hardware; iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler CORSAIR iCUE COMMANDER CORE XT Smart RGB Lighting and Fan Speed Controller 10 x 120mm Corsair iCUE ML RGB ELITE Premium 1 x 60mm Noctua NF-A6x25 PWM Asus ROG MAXIMUS XII FORMULA Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO Corsair STRAFE RGB MK.2 Keyboard I have the fans setup like this. The Commander Core XT is plugged into the motherboard Th H150i is plugged into the passthrough of the Commander Core XT Fans 1-6 are on the Commander CORE Controller that came with the Capellix Fan 7-10 are on the COMMANDER CORE XT The Lian Li cases RGB is plugged into the RGB header on the motherboard Both the motherboard and Lian Li case are being controlled by iQUE How can I change the order of the Fans so they look proper in the case? Right now I'm just running Rainbow wave which looks ok but if I switch to something like Visor the sequence of the fans are all out of whack. I have posted a pic of where each fan is. Basically what I am trying to do is have the fans go in this order. 1, 2 & 5, CPU Cooler, 3 & 6, RAM, 4 & 7, 8 & 9 & 10, Front RGB on case itself, Key board Or atleast get the corsair fans going the right way even if I can't reorder the motherboard and case rgbs. Here's a video of what happens when I turn visor on. Any help is greatly appreciated.
KingSchorschi
  5. I have a Commander Core XT. I have all my fans connected to it. I have a fan curve that that uses 0 RMP mode for all said fans. When I lock my system my fans stop even if the CPU is under full load. Either iCue needs to be able to control the fans even with no user logged based on last cooling profile or a way to set a hardware profile needs to be made.
  6. I recently upgraded my motherboard, ram and cpu to the ASUS B450M Aii, Corsair Vengeance ddr4 3600 RGB PRO, and Ryzen 5 5500, which lead to another problem. My DEEPCOOL Matrexx55 ARGB-W case, with mounted LED strip(5v), and 6 CF120(5vARGB) fans will not work with the 12v RGB header on the mobo for RGB control. The Commander Core XT looks like the route I would prefer to go, since I already use iCue for my K55 Keyboard, Void Elite headset and the new Vengeance Pro RGB ddr4 3600 ram. When I initially build out the case, having all branded products seemed logical, especially with the RGB controller built into the case. While I can still use the case for lighting, I would much rather use software and have more control over the RGB. After determining that the 12vRGB header on the mobo isn't compatible with the ARGB fans, I found a DEEPCOOL 12v-5v Transfer hub. That didn't solve the problem either, as ARGB and RGB don't work the same. I am using 6 DEEPCOOL CF120 fans, 3 mounted in the front, 2 in push/pull on a Coolermaster Hyper212 EVO and one for exhaust in the rear. I would be much happier to control everything with iCue instead of using the case mounted controller. Is there a connector/adapter to use my DEEPCOOL products with the Corsair Commander Core XT to control the lighting in my case? 9.
  11. with the icue software, i connected the cooler fans to the pump but was getting a reading of 0 RPMS all the time, and never heard my fans spinning up during max load such as VR or anything, so i purchased the Commander core XT and plugged those radiator fans into that hub. was just wondering if it still will and works as intened or do the need to be connected to the cooler? i also have 3 other fans connected to the commander core xt, which was the original reason for buying. thanks. 12.
  13. Hi, I've just upgraded to a custom water loop (Non Corsair....sorry) I'm trying to connect 11 LL120 RGB 120mm fans and 1 iCUE QL140 RGB 140mm fan. I have the commander core xt that came with the case, a commander pro, several RGB hubs, 2 PWM corsair fan hubs as well as an (open) RGB hub that came with another Corsair case. I have the Corsair 7000x case, Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero, 1200 Watt Be Quiet Dark power pro PSU. WHen I connect 6 fans to the Commander Core XT, it only recognizes 3 of the LL fans, it never recognizes the 140mm QL as a 140mm. It only recognizes the 3rd, 5th, and 6th fan. All fans work, I've tested them severasl time. I've came up with several configurations and the closest I've got is to exclude the commander core xt completely and run the commander pro with an rgb hub.....one of the exposed ones with a usb connector. I've spent several hours on this. I've researched all over the net, I've read Zotty's posts but none have the XT since it's new. I've called Support and went through what seemed like what he was reading off of a troubleshooting guide (like they are supposed to do) but no suggestions of experience with my question. I'm so frustrated with iCue and trying to set this up and not being able to find any help. I'm tp the point of wanting to remove all RGB fans and icue software to just settle for some plan fans to cool PLEASE, is there someone here than can help me and restore my love for RGB??? Thanks for any and all help with this.
