ChK1
Hello, a few days ago I purchased the HS80 MAX headphones. Everything seemed fine initially, but after a few days, I noticed an issue with the ICUE software. The headphones simply "disappear" from ICUE, causing both the microphone and sound equalizer to stop working. When this happens, I have to close and reopen ICUE to get the headphones detected again. This is very inconvenient, especially during gaming, as I have to restart the game to restore the sound. I've tried performing a clean installation following the steps from this forum and Reddit. I searched for folders and subfolders, deleted everything, manually uninstalled HS80MAX drivers from the task manager, and even switched USB ports on my PC, trying four different locations. I attempted several clean installations, including using DDU and uninstalling any sound-related components like Dolby Atmos or NVIDIA sound. I followed Corsair's recommendations for installation, but nothing seems to work for me. Any solutions? I'm starting to feel desperate. Thank you for your time. Solution ChK1 Posted February 12 Author Solution Share Posted February 12 (edited) After several attempts, even formatting and using W10 and W11, the problem persists. The best solution, as proposed by a Corsair assistant, is to return the product or exchange it for another one. The best option is to return the product since it seems there may be no solution. Thanks for the help, I guess.. Edited February 12 by ChK1
