My K70 RGB Rapidfire is stuck in bootloader mode.
I had water spill over the keyboard and let it dry out for several days now, it should 100% be dry.

But every time I connect the USB cable to my computer the "CRP Disabld" folder pops up with the "firmware.bin" inside it.
The keyboard is not being recognized by iCue and the "hold down Esc" method for a soft reboot of the keyboard also does not work.

According to other posts on this Forum I need to contact support and have them send me a working version of the "firmware.bin" file.
Been there, done that, no reply after 50+ hours so now here is the forum post to get things moving, hopefully.

The spilling of the water has likely caused permanent damage to the keyboard, and a hard reset of the firmware is not likely to resolve your issues with the keyboard. At this point in time you will need to wait to hear back from support regarding the file and instructions.

I know of plenty of cases where the keyboard did not get perma bricked by a water spill.
I know of cases where people literally submerge their keyboards in soap/water solutions to clean them.
This shouldn't be an issue as long as it is properly dried out.
Water doesn't just randomly destroy PCB boards, contacts, mechanical keys etc.
The physics of the situation are pretty clear to me.

Ofc it is possible the keyboard shorted out, but I find that rather unlikely considering the way I spilled the water and how fast I reacted in unpluggin the keyboard. The water shouldn't have reached the contacts on the PCB before unplugging.
Still hoping for the best here.

I have not taken it apart yet so there  is a chance the PCB is actually not 100% dry. I dried it out for 5 days (and counting) on a heater (moderate heat, nothing crazy), hoping that does the trick without getting down an dirty with my keyboard.

I really just need to get out of that boodloading loop I am stuck in right now, can't do that without a proper firmware.bin.
If a new firmware.bin doesn't do the trick, I'll have to take the keyboard apart and check everything manually.
