HS70 Pro Wireless 7.1 Sound problems.

Hi Anermly,

 

Sorry to hear you're experiencing inconsistent volume, crackling and interference. There's a few things to check here:

 

Is your headset's firmware up to date? You can check via iCUE settings for the device. The wireless transmitter may also require an update.

 

If firmware is already up-to-date for both, then I suggest connecting the wireless transmitter to a different USB port.

 

If neither of the above resolve the issue, then let's try a soft reset since it's been known to resolve various issues. To soft reset your headset:

 

  1. Make sure your HS70 headset is powered off.
  2. Hold down the Mute button on the headset for about 15 to 20 seconds.
  3. Hold down the Power button until the headset turns on.
  4. Test your headset and see if the issue is resolved.
