discordstar
Not enough info, which RAM? Which system? What other problems are you having? I'd submit a ticket. this is my built 1 AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Wraith Boxed (CPU) 1 Asus Prime B350-Plus (MOBO) 1 Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 580 8GD5 Special Edition (GPU) 1 Seagate Barracuda, 2TB (HDD) 1 Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2B3000C15B 16gb (2x8gb) 1 BitFenix Formula Gold 450W (PSU) 1 Samsung 860 EVO 250GB (SSD) after swapping ram modules to test both the 2 rams and ram slot, it turned out that one of the rams is causing the problem. i wanted to check if the ram was corrupted. So these are the test i done: No error beeps. No posting problems. Able to see memory in linux and bios (however they are showing 2133 instead of 3000). Did memtest v7.5 with 8 passes no errors. (4 passes with +0.1voltage) everything seems fine. Based on the QVL list my ram is listed but mine has a "B" at the end. they should still be the same because the B stands for Blue. i get 2 different errors both ram inserted: 0xc0000098 (ntoskrnl.exe) only bad ram inserted: 0xc0000017 (not enough ram inserted) hdd/ssd were disconnected when testing so its not the problem. See if the vendor can exchange the kit, otherwise submit a ticket.
