Mnpctech.com
This Corsair 380T "Homefront The Revolution" is a custom gaming PC Case Mod is created by MNPCTECH.COM Homefront: The Revolution is the sequel to Homefront, an open world first-person shooter video game developed by Dambuster Studios and published by Deep Silver. The game is scheduled to be released on May 17, 2016 in U.S. and May 20, 2016 in Europe for Linux, Microsoft Windows, OS X, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The general idea is to achieve a look and feel that matches the modern, high-tech KPA materials and utilities that has been taken over by the resistance. We're going to combine a special shape of the case that could be used for military purposes in the field with the stealth angular look of the APEX manufactured vehicles and material textures that are used for both, person armor and utilities. To achieve the resistance look we will scratch off the KPA/APEX logos and text a device like that would normally have and overwrite or spay it with resistance signs and symbols. Hardware Specs: Intel Core i7 6700 Skylake, socket 1151 GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170N-Gaming 5 ITX Motherboard GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 980 Ti Xtreme Gaming WINDFORCE Edition Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 (4GB) Corsair XT Neutron SSD (240GB) Corsair H100i CPU Cooler Corsair RM 750W ATX PSU, Modular Gaming PC Peripherals: Corsair K70 RGB Gaming Keyboard Corsair M65 gaming mouse Corsair VOID gaming headset I've chosen Corsair 380T's ITX case for this project for it's portability and excellent build quality. The 380T allows you to fit a 240mm radiator for cooling your CPU. The Corsair 380T I/O panel includes power, reset, headphone, mic, and two USB 3.0 and fan controller. I'll be creating new side panels for the 380T from aluminum to replace the factory plastic version. This is being done so we have a stronger structure to add armored layers of material. Closer look at the 380T side panel. It's molded from smoked polycarbonate with perforated mesh overlay. My PC case mod will have the look and feel of a portable field operation. The shock protection seen on the super drones will shroud portions of the Corsair 380T case. I will be machining the shock protection rails from aluminum. Front of the Corsair 380T case. This diagram illustrates how our fabricated rails will be attached to the bottom of the Corsair 380T case. This diagram illustrates more of the exterior guard rails and front plate that will hold the cell phone in place. Stay Tuned for update soon! Mnpctech.com
Here is more photos of the aluminum side panels we created for the Corsair 380T. Made from 6061 aluminum. To insure the factory panel latches withstand the added weight whenever you open / close / remove the panels, I used Scotch Weld DP-190 2 part epoxy. Mnpctech.com
Hi Wizard, the clear panel was prototype, to confirm we had everything measured correctly before milling the individual pieces for the machined aluminum "armored" version. Several people on FB asked if we could make aftermarket version of the clear panel, but it's too time consuming to re-produce. Corsair should considering offering it. Mnpctech.com
I've finished painting the top I/O guard for the corsair 380T. Todd K Customs developed a hardware monitoring app with similar GUI to the app used to hack the KPA networks by the Liberty7 resistance in Homefront: The Revolution PC game. You're welcome to check out Todd's website and use his app on your own PC! All of the steps are here, HOMEFRONT PC STATS ENGINE
