BruinsRock9117
Hi everyone, Today I bought an H100i and installed it with everything working perfectly fine. Once it was in my PC I downloaded the link software because I wanted to change the fan speeds and also the LED color. But whenever I try to run link, I get the small box that says link for a few seconds then nothing. I can monitor temps and change from silent to balanced to performance from the little pop up menu next to the clock in the taskbar but that's all I have control of. Does anyone know why it won't open? Thanks EDIT: Oh forgot to say that I get a .NET error saying access is denied
SpDFrek
What version of the software are you using, what OS are you on, and if possible can you take a screenshot of the error or copy/paste the text from the error message? The UI should open up on the desktop by default when first installed. After that it minimizes to the taskbar unless you select "Hide Corsair link" from the system tray icon. Then in order to bring the UI back up you would need to select "Show Corsair Link" from the system tray icon again.
BruinsRock9117
The error message is: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): Access is denied I'm on Windows 7 64 bit Im using v2.7.5339
SpDFrek
Do you have .NET 4.5 installed on your system? The installer package should have tried to load it if you didn't already have it installed. If that install did not complete correctly it may be causing your errors. You can get the stand alone installer package from Microsoft.
Tech_Greek
Start Run (Or Windows Key + R) Type %AppData% Go to Corsair Delete Profiles This will delete all your settings but generally speaking when I've run into that issue it's been because the profile has corrupted. kansasboy001
Do you have Norton Internet security? Norton is blocking the latest version of link.
