A.M.
How much power does the H80/H100 pump consume? I want to power my H80 pump directly off the motherboard CPU fan connector and the manual says the maximum supplied current is 1A (12W) and I just want to make sure the power does not go above the motherboard header limit. djedjepon
You can connect the pump to the motherboard cpu fan. This is the molex current plug to the pump, so no problem. The pump uses 12v on molex ,and the 3 pin just for rpm pump.
peanutz94
I want to power my H80 pump directly off the motherboard CPU fan connector The pump pulls more than 1 amp. I wouldn't try to power it off of a fan header. Stick with the molex connected directly to the PSU
A.M.
Measured it yesterday and it draws 1.1-1.2 AMPs, but it runs fine off the motherboard fan header.
