Are you using USB 2.0 or 3.0? It could be a power issue related to the USB ports too. Fill out your hardware specs and if you can tell us what headset you're using, the USB ports you're connected to (Hub, Mobo, 2.0/3.0, and one/two cables) we can look into it.
